Americano is excellent and people friendly! Cafe is very thoughtfully and tastefully designed, complete with chalkboard tables. Such a nice addition to this neighborhood and will be back for coffee dates with friends.
My server was super friendly and on a Sunday morning too!! The tables are super cute you can draw with chalk. I get a little nostalgic feeling in there as well. I got the turkey.. was fresh and fab. The menu is super clear too and I think it's a good spot for kids too. Definitely be back!!
First time in this new coffee shop and I was well surprised. The coffee is really good and the staff is nice. I really love the way the coffee shop is decorated. => I haven't tried the food but hopefully will next time. If the food is also good I might be a regular! <= I will mainly personally come back as they had the genius idea of installing chalk tables with chalks available. This is just great if you have a kid as it keeps them entertained while you can sip your coffee. Kid-friendliness: Chalks for kids to draw on tables Books for kids available
Exactly the type of cafe bayview needs! The coffee, sandwiches and baked goods are amazing! The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is comfortable and cute!
Fantastic coffee, amazing pastries highly recommend the cinnamon/sugar twist and great staff/ambiance. Will definitely return to try out the other food on the menu!
I love this place! I had one of the best mochas I've ever tasted there, and the cinnamon knots are addictive. Can't wait to try the s'mores!
So excited to have Bad Blowfish open in our neighbourhood!! The service is amazing - friendly and so helpful. The food is so fresh and yummy - cinnamon knots - wow! and the raspberry croissant too. Love the decor and it is kid friendly with lots of space for strollers, books for kids…and their tabletops are chalkboard - so you can draw on them!!!
A nice addition to the Bayview retail strip. Some of the things we enjoyed about our visit were the pretty ambiance and decor and chalkboard tabletops. I appreciate they have a seasonal Valentine’s Day drink - not to my taste but a fun idea regardless! Service was a bit slow; granted it was a busy weekend afternoon. The matcha and chai oat lattes we ordered were ordinary/standard. From observing service, I could tell they don’t make their own whipped cream, which is unfortunately something I’ve noticed in several independent coffee shops. I plan to be back soon to try some of their other offerings.
It's a friendly environment, except there is a lady who sits at the end booth and stare at clients and staff. She should be the owner or manager as she goes in their back kitchen time to time and talk to staff. She makes the place a bit gloomy. Kid-friendliness: Kids or adults can draw on the tables. It's fun.
Great spot if you’re looking for a quiet place to work during the day.Recommended dishesBrewed Coffee
