Back On Track Physiotherapy And Sports Clinic

Dr. Karolina Michalowski has taken away my chronic back pain. I’m so happy with her work on me. She is a credit to Back on Track.

I went into the office last week to book an appointment with a physiotherapist. The receptionist then suggested that she can book me with Karolina who is a chiropractor but does physiotherapy as well. I specifically asked if this would still be covered by insurance since I only have coverage for physio. She said it would and that it wouldn’t be a problem. I went for my appointment today, it was fine. I received a phone call a few hours later to be told that the claim wasn’t approved by insurance. I signed into my insurance app and saw they tried submitting 3 times and that it was denied. I tried to submit on behalf of myself only to find that the provider was listed only as a chiro and that’s why my insurance wouldn’t cover it. I called the office back to clarify this only to be told it was a “miscommunication” and that I never specified this. I wouldn’t have agreed to be seen by her if I knew that it was going to be billed as a chiropractic appointment. I know my insurance coverage and I know how insurance works since I’m also a healthcare provider. No resolution was given to me by the office or manager, just told was I expected to pay the $105 to which I did. I would never recommend this office to anyone. They tried to blame me for this and wouldn’t accept any responsibility for their mistake . Honestly this was extremely poor customer service in my opinion. *update: the office manager called me the following Monday and offered me a refund.*

I had physiotherapy from Naval Shah for a torn hamstring . He was very friendly and professional and helped me to a speedy recovery . I would highly recommend Naval to anyone needing therapy .

Navel showed that he actually cared about me and my well-being and was very helpful with getting me back on track.

Went to this Back on Track for a rotator cuff injury, done at work. They billed WSIB directly, which was a huge convenience for me. After working with Mark Guergis physiotherapist for several months, and a couple of extensions from WSIB which Mark kindly arranged, I am very happy to say I'm cured of a most painful injury. Mark had a wonderful bedside manner, gentle disposition, and so professional. And loves dogs! Thank you, so much!

Went to this location after MVA. Jessica is amazing. She is patient and so knowledgeable. She is helping me with the pain and helping me become back to my normal life. I couldn't be thankful for her help and professionalism. The front desk staff are also polite and super helpful. Highly recommend!
