Bab Sharqi

I wish I can give ZERO star. Something is off about this place. We called and asked about dinner and were told the restaurants was open yesterday evening. We arrived there to find the doors closed, light off, curtains down. We called and the same Guy said he was on his way to open the restaurant for us. And we just felt like he was high or something. We left the place and will never think of going there again. JUST BE CAREFUL.

Amazing Syrian Singer and night. Food and hospitality are more than welcome than excellent

Worst experience ever, 2nd time and both times I regret it. First time for an organized event, we were the only guests, no one showed up, the restaurant was empty. This time charge you 55$ +tax+tips coming at 72$ for a platter that contains 70% just sauces hummus, baba ganouj, etc and fries. I requested something to two different waiters and they brought me something else. He charged me 29$ as cover charge on top of that. Best money ever spent to never EVER come back to this empty restaurant. Go to Al Sultan, it is 100% better.

All negative reviews on google are TRUE. It’s not a restaurant but a dance bar for parties . Never go there thinking it’s a food restuarant . Better to have food at home before coming here . A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT for me and guest. My worst experience so far in Montreal. Truly an honest review .

Had such a good dinner at Bab Sharqi. Authentic and delicious food from the mezzes to the main courses. Very friendly service as well.

Very good restaurant. Food is delicious. Goid portion. Try to accomodate everyone. Grillades are on point, really tender. Mezza is complete, everything you want they have. Price is good. Only thing i dont like about this place is the location, surrounded by manufacturs and compagnies in a not too much popular street, its kinda isolated alone.
