Amazing restaurant. The ambiance, the service and the food is just top notch. Every dish we had was delicious. The grilled meat platter was our favourite, expensive, but worth it! We were two to share the platter along with two "entrees" and it was more than enough food. The meat was perfectly cooked, good portions and amazing flavours. The rack of lamb stood out to me the most. It was our second time here and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Definitely a great place to try middle eastern food. We tried a few things, the cheese bureck and the lamb were AMAZING. Prices are high and I think this is the main reason not to give 5 stars. Syrian food and middle eastern food and hospitality is known to be generous welcoming and affordable. I realize that this is a high end place but it’s a bit too much. Also, if you choose to seat outside it’s definitely a different experience than sitting inside. The inside decor and atmosphere is way nicer. Outside seating is on regular plastic chairs which is not appropriate to a place like this and the decor is minimal.

Amazing restaurant - highly recommend. It’s generous fine-dining, which is extremely rare. The quality of the food is phenomenal; the flavours are amazing and the staff takes such good care of you, they’re super attentive and extremely hygienic. The restaurant decor is so authentic and beautiful. One of my favourite restaurants. Amazing experience, always.

This was my first time here and it’s now my favourite restaurant in Canada. Excellent food and service! Highly recommend the lamb all of them! For dessert I chose the ice cream because we had already eaten too much. I usually don’t order ice cream for dessert, but this time I didn’t regret about it. It was a really nice surprise.

One of the highlights of our Montreal vacation was Damas Restaurant restaurant. This is more than just a meal. It is a memorable experience. The aesthetic is stunning, the food is cooked to perfection, presented beautifully and portions are large yet fresh and healthy. You've got to try the fattoush made in-house daily, oyster mushroom hummus, and melting sea bass. The wine list is extensive and has unique vintages. It has one of the best outdoor terraces in the city, and the interior decor is spectacular. Nonetheless, it's a very popular place and worth checking out, even if it can get expensive.

The drinks were delicious and very original. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and everything was great. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. The quantity was more than enough as we brought back lots of leftovers. The sommelier was super friendly and gladly answered all our questions. It's a bit pricey, but I would say the experience was worth it. We will definitely come back.

A perfect meal and experience at Damas, as always. The cocktails are impeccable especially the Ginger Rose Fizz, the dishes are gorgeous and delicious, and the service is amazing. In particular, John was incredibly thoughtful in explaining the menu, recommending dishes, and selecting a beautiful wine for us. While the meal and restaurant are amazing unto themselves, it was truly his service that made the experience so special. Easily my favourite restaurant in Montreal, it just doesn’t get better than this!!

Absolutely a great experience. The tasting menu is comprised of 10 courses, and every course is delectable. The service here is incomparable. Definitely going to go back just to try their pescatarian tasting menu, and the meat platter. Absolutely worth the price.

Damas is located in the heart of Outremont. This restaurant is one of a kind. The best of the best restaurants in Montreal with delicious Syrian food and impeccable service. The prices are high but for good reason. Nothing compares to Damas, their food is fresh, delicious, and most of all memorable! Reserve 2 months in advance as it’s very hard to reserve but worth the wait!

this was my 1st dinning experience trying Syrian cuisine. I tried the tasting menu. The lamb was by far my favorite dish. very well seasoned and cooked. i giving 2 stars for the overall experience good: wine pairing was excellent. - food : was Ok. the flavours were same from once dish to another. i was expecting varieties of flavours and them being bold. food portions were generous. - service: it was not up-to par. Some tasting plates were brought before we even finished the previous course. dessert was not sweet enough.
