Our company had training together with the employees of this company, although majority of them were good. It seems this company is not really unwilling to hire people who have strong racist behaviors and it seems they tend to discriminate based on race which is very rampant in BC and Alberta's suburban companies

A recent experience has soured my formerly strong impression of this large and reputable company, confirming the old adage that conglomerates are immune from criticism. I suppose their vast bankrolls are eternally protected, being the only game in town to service lower mainland municipalities. In short, one of the back hoe operators was on occasion sloppily slamming his bucket on the concrete during routines, causing vibration beyond what was necessary. Called the company to have this documented in the event I needed to make a claim for a compromised or cracking foundation. Turns out the desk clerk I called couldn't locate a supervisor or management personnel for some 20 minutes (god only knows what would happen if there was an emergency of the scale a company like this might be faced with). I was then put in touch with an on-site supervisor who had no time for my thoughtfully expressed concern - which was to have him ask the back hoe operator to exercise more care in making contact with the concrete. What I got was a complete lack of respect and a defensive "I'll talk to him." My point here is to generate wider concern about how these large service companies handle the general public. We care about our properties and simply expect our modest concerns as tax-paying citizens to be heard. That's all I ask. Instead, I'm aghast by the inattentiveness, and lack of preparedness by all parties I dealt with, by how they handled a very simple concern.

On Friday March 27th your crew completed the crossing in the Foster St / Thrift Ave intersection. We had a grandstand view from our 4th story window. To see the precise cooperation of machines and men and the excellent traffic control from that perspective was just marvelous and we were very impressed.
