We were hungry and looking for a place to have dinner. We ended up here and it was a great sushi, we truly enjoyed it. The place is very nice and warm, every dish beautifully decorated, people are very nice. Overall going here is a great experience. We will be back.
This is my second visit. I'll come back to this restaurant. The ingredients are fresh and taste of the food is excellent. Severs and cooks are very friendly. The tempura was crispy and delicious. I strongly recommend Uni!!! It doesn't smell at all, it doesn't smell fishy, and it's super fresh.Food: 5/5
Update: Been back multiple times.. Their Special Rolls are so unique and beautifully presented! I got the Spider Roll this time and my favorite: Dynamite Roll Old Post: continuously trying new dishes from this place, proving so far every dish tried was worth it! I am glad this place is being recognized! Love the Original Pizza! This used to be Kazami and now with new ownership, it is Avo House! I liked Kazami but I love The Avo House! I got the Sashimi Bento.. Everything was incredibly Fresh!! One of the Best Dynamite Rolls I've tasted! And the salad was delicious! Great service! I will be back! 5 Stars
Avo House is amazing! The service and attitude from both the chef/manager and server was incredible; they were both so polite and accommodating the whole time I was there, also making sure I was happy with everything. I don’t usually post photos, but so much care and attention to detail was put into every dish that I couldn’t resist. The food is delicious and I think I’ve found my go-to restaurant for when I stay downtown. I look forward to coming back and trying more dishes!
I recently visited Avo House Japanese Restaurant and was extremely impressed with the quality of the food and service. The bento box I ordered was absolutely delicious, with a variety of flavors and textures that all worked together perfectly. The restaurant's staff was also extremely friendly and attentive, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. I would highly recommend Avo House to anyone looking for a great Japanese meal in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
This is brand new Japanese restaurant on Robson st. in downtown Vancouver. Great food and service. They just soft opened yesterday Nov. 5th. This is must check out place!!!! I will go back again soon before they get popular and lined up.

Second visit. Ordered bluefin tuna, tuna, scallops, broiled salmon n teriyaki chicken. This is a new Japanese restaurant in Vancity, where sushi is limitlessly Japanese, n teriyaki is the best in volume and taste.
Utterly delicious and so affordable! This bento box, made up of teriyaki chicken could have also had beef, california roll, agedashi tofu gyozas or tempura were also an option, salad, rice and miso soup, was $16.95 - I can’t quite get my head around that! Everything tasted so fresh and flavourful, plus the staff were so welcoming and made sure we were always topped up on complimentary green tea throughout our visit. I am already planning when I can come back here to try out more of the menu, which is extensive!
