Horrible experience. Very costly (rip off!) make sure you read the fine print. Took over an hour to rent and close to that to return. Picked up the vehicle with no gas as they were “too busy to fuel up”. They were to credit me unused gas but not surprisingly for this location they never did. There are many better rental choices nearby in Kingston. And below I’m sure will be the canned customer service response about them being sorry and to call customer service, because there is no effort that deal with the poor service. Just canned auto responses.

My nephew recently rented a car from this location. He was supposed to pick up the car at 10.30. We arrived 5 minutes before the agreed time and the office was closed with a sign that they would return at 10.30 am. So we waited for 10 minutes and nobody showed up. I called them and someone told be that they would arrive in 10 minutes A second call was necessary before they showed up to the office around 11:10 am (almost one hour late) . This happened on one of those horrible cold days. Fortunately I didn't leave, so my nephew and I we could stay warm in the car. Not an apology or anything for being late!

I rented a BMW. They rent Audi and other nice cars. Great fast service!!! Will definitely cone back to rent the Audi.

One of my worst customer experiences with a car rental. The staff took almost 2 hours to give us a car we booked a couple days in advance. First, the representative (Jeremy A.) did not pay attention to us whatsoever, it took him 25 minutes to say a word to us, mumbling "the system is restarting". Then, when putting in the driver's details, he took a long time and did not respond to any of my questions regarding the rental. When asking us for personal details, he would snap a two-word question we would not understand, making us look dumb. To a question on insurance and liability options, he answered: look it up, it's online. I have never experienced such a rude and unprofessional personnel. He also put a wrong return date and my driver's license number on our contract. He did not apologize for the poor service he provided. I would not recommend renting a car in Avis/Budget office in Kingston unless you have no other option, be prepared to deal with unprofessional staff. The car was ok at the end, but this experience ruined the beginning of our trip and I would not rent a car there again. I have heard from other people to have a similar experience, unfortunately.

The facilitu is small, cold, not easily ♿️ accessible, and dirty. Was given less than 24 hours for rental without discount, took an uncleaned vehicle, then, owner tried to claim a scratch on bumper. When asked for a picture, was told it was already re-rented and no picture ever arrived. In addition, was also told the gas was below full despite $60 gas receipt minutes before drop off, so, was told not charged. Funds were not released for deposit for over a week. Further, though second rental on 2nd of two consecutive days I left a half tank MORE that was supposed to get credit for, I was charged the first and not credited the second. Would NEVER suggest this location, and now reticent to go to any Avis/Budget as this was a combined location.
