The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Market Mall

I'm gonna be honest. I really liked the atmosphere and the service, staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcomed. The only reason I give it 4 stars it's because of the price. Yes, the food is really good but it is way more expensive than expected. It is definitely a place you go once a year on a special occasion and wouldn't recommend anyone to go there if they are visiting Calgary on vacation.

This is an awesome place to come for any types of celebrations, or just a nice night out. When you come look for Geordie. He is the best server! He took care of all of us having special birthdays together with his friendliness and great sense of humor, super accommodating with our requests and smiled all night. We would always come back to this location and ask for him!

Nice intimate atmosphere with excellent table service. My steak ordered rare was more on the side of medium rare, but this was most likely because they wanted to bring out everyone's food around the same time and our group was on the larger side. Our server was so accommodating, I just didn't have the heart to send it back.

We really enjoyed The Keg last night. I haven't been there in ages not since they were at Stadium and they did not disappoint. The level of service was top notch. Even though it was packed, our server Amy was still very attentive and constantly checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, but not in an intrusive way. I was actually surprised at how family friendly it was and our 3 and 4 year old both enjoyed it without too much of a fuss no Netflix or screen time was needed, woohoo!. They had coloring pages for them with crayons. The kids menu was fantastic. For $13-14, they got a veggie platter celery sticks, carrots, dip and oranges, milk, their main, and ice cream. They loved putting lime and oranges in their water. I also loved that they timed their courses with ours so they weren't left waiting forever which is often the case with other restaurants. I also liked that the environment was so forgiving for kids they are a loud bunch lol I had the prime rib with potatoes and also ordered the ribs. Both which were excellent and we had tonnes of leftovers. The Caesar salad that came with my meal was massive. By the time I finished the bread starter and the salad, I was pretty full! We also ordered the tuna tartare which was delicious and flavourful. I won't hesitate to come back next time for a special occasion if we can't find a babysitter. We celebrated a large family birthday party. Service was excellent. Staff were attentive and friendly. Clean washrooms. Modern art in walls. Nice ambiance. We enjoyed the filet mignon and double baked potatoes. Very tasty. Recommend!

My husband and I had our 30th anniversary dinner there. We only had a steak and shared it. The service is perfect and the steak is good, but you also could cook this kinds of stuff at home. Recommend but I will not go there again

Always a great experience at the Keg. Enjoyed the classic dinner with 7oz filet, twice baked potato, Ceasar salad and a 9oz glass of red Strike wine. Total yum! My friend is celiac and the the "big boss" always comes to the table to confirm that her meal will be prepared accordingly. Very classy!Food: 5/5

The person at the front desk was very friendly and inviting, as well as our server Carly who was able to answer our questions and make us feel comfortable. The food was delicious with some changes to the usual due to supply issues. The main complaint I have is a small one, the knives are terrible! They have no serration so are awkward to cut steak with unless probably extremely sharp which mine was not. I loved my teriyaki steak and lobster, as well as the mini creme brulee which was perfect since we were so full but wanted a taste!

Disappointed experience with my Prime Rib. I went to the Keg steakhouse for celebrating my son’s birthday. Because I have excellent experiences in my friend’s b-day at the Keg steakhouse. I expected a similar experience. I ordered the Prime Rib and it was Too much fat.. I asked it seemed too much fat in it to my server. However, she said it is a Prime Rib. I didn’t discuss it further with her because I didn’t want to ruin my emotion in my son’s birthday. I thought it didn’t worth spending my money at the Keg yesterday.

Going to The Keg was a splendid experience. The food there was good and the service was good as well. The wait time wasn't bad considering the number of people at the time. The waitress was kind and friendly. I think the aesthetics really pushed this place to a five-star rating. Below is the BBQ Pork Ribs.
