Story

Authentic Pilates is a safe, gentle movement and exercise technique that utilizes specialized equipment with hands on instruction. With over 500 structured exercises, Brigitte Ziebell is able to tailor to the needs and capabilities of her clients, no matter age and lifestyle, creating control of one's body with grace and ease.

Brigitte Ziebell studied with and was certified by Romana Kryzanowska (NYC Pilates Studio, NYC Pilates Guild) and has been teaching for more than 20 years. Romana trained and was certified with the creator of pilates, Joseph Pilates, wherein she learned the exercises and philosophies of the true pilates method.

I rarely give 5 stars...a Pilates session at Brita definitely deserves it. As soon as you enter the studio, smell a gentle breeze of aromatic oil, are served warm tea in winter and mint water in summer, you immediately feel at home. The training is then individually tailored to the person. Brita has a pleasant manner, but she can also challenge you quite a bit! You notice very quickly that you are making physical progress. I work in the field and drive a lot. Pilates has contributed significantly to my posture and core stability!
On the recommendation of my doctor, I was looking for a Pilates trainer - I am a typical office worker who does a lot of computer work and sits in the car and therefore constantly has severe tension in my neck, shoulders and back. To be correct, I had these problems - thanks to Brita and her excellent, individually tailored training plan, these tensions have been a thing of the past since the beginning of 2017. Even my physiotherapist/osteopath has already praised how well developed my core muscles are now. As a side effect, I simply feel much healthier physically, have better posture and am fitter. In my opinion, Brita is an excellent trainer: she notices immediately when an angle is wrong or a muscle is not tense and corrects the posture - but the training is still fun I would never have imagined that I would write something like that! and I enjoy going to training every week. So I can only warmly recommend Brita! A note about personal vs. group training: I have tried both and have to say, especially as a beginner, group training is absolutely unsuitable. As many times as Brita corrected me in the beginning and still does, because every angle counts!, I clearly felt the difference and decided that group training wasn't for me.
