Story

Beginning April 1st, 2015:

Fees --> $85 One month, unlimited classes
$10 Drop in (must have some CrossFit experience please)

$120 Foundations Beginner's Class (includes 2 weeks of group classes)

Discounts available for students and for 6 mo./12mo. commitments

One on one training $40/hr

Great gym! Everything you need. There are all kinds of machines for every muscle and organized on the floor by major muscle group. The free weight section is complete, such as you would expect at any major gym. There are also stationary bikes, elliptical machines, treadmills, stair climbers, and hiking trials behind the gym for cardio see photo I took of map. I bought a three month membership for $95 and had to fly out, one month in, for an unexpected trip, and the owner, Ed, was able to pause my membership while I was gone. I had to tell him before I left, and it's nice that they are flexible. The gym has standard locker rooms and showers, a jacuzzi and coed sauna. There is a swimming pool, but it's seasonal. The upstairs area is for stretching, and there are tanning bed rooms there, but I've never used them. Overall, a great gym.
Great gym with a ton of equipment. Clean but old. The locker rooms are big but the lockers are super rusty and old. The pool and hot tub were not open. There is probably every type of machine ever made in the gym, but that does cause a super tight squeeze between machines and benches. Sometimes if someone is next to you on a bench or machine you cannot do anything until they are done with their set or move on. The biggest downside is Fox News playing on one of the large TV’s on the floor and then the older man at the front desk browsing Fox News on the computer while checking people in. Not the best look or most motivational choice of channel to have on. It really set an unwelcoming tone. If you can ignore that then you’ll have a great workout!
I love this place. Equipment is kept in good shape, they got a pool and a hot tub. The price is comfortable and the staff and owner are friendly great folks!
I went to Bay Area fitness for about a week while I was on vacation and I have to say it's probably the best gym I've been to; at least the best equipped, they have hundreds of machines- some of which I'd never seen before - so it can cater to any routine you have and the environment is very welcoming. On top of everything it's very affordable at 8$ per day and 20$ per week.
I love going here. The price is better than anywhere else nearby, and there are tons of machines. It’s usually not very crowded, and I’ve never had to wait for a machine I want. There’s sometimes a friendly cat who wanders around the machines, which makes my visit even better!
Friendly helpful staff, fair prices, clean. They have it all we are lucky to have them.
Same cool place I've known forever. I go there to work the machines, catch up on the news, shower, swim outdoors in the pool and try to feel good. The doors and windows are open, which I like. So many fitness machines. Better than too few! Thanks, Ed!
Huge selection of equipment. Great prices. Really the only things I dont like. Is the staff not actively trying to help you. And the showers not having hot water. [Update] guess my quick shower is reason for hot water. So they do have it. And never technically asked about a trainer. So also my fault. You guys deserve 5 stars.
Best gym ive ever ben too! Hands down. Great price for what you get! And so many machines to use. N a great live weight section! And great cardio machines n plenty of eveything you need!
Been going here since 2009. The best gym in the local area. Lift things up. Put them down. Run. Climb the infinite stairs. P.s. they don't do pizza days.
