Only a smith machine, no Olympic bars or kettle bell, slightly crowded weight room but over all a good place to go and work out. Wellness room can ne used when there are no classes being held which is nice for when you are doing a workout without much equipment. Locker room is nice and warm In winter and there is a bathing suit spinner to dry out wet clothes in!

The Waldo County YMCA is disappointing to the average and more serious gym go-er. The Staff rarely finds time to stop their conversations with one another to greet you, the locker rooms are outdated, staff members who answer the phones are generally rude, the equipment room is overly cramped, and their early closing times are inconvenient to those who have a day job(most of us do). This YMCA does seem to be popular for its youth programs, which it seems to focus all of its energy on. It does however have a very cool indoor track that wraps around the upper floor and a nice wood-floored room that is perfect for practicing dance.
