Aurora Borealis Restaurant is something different in the Northwoods. Our concept is to provide Manitowish Waters and the surrounding area with a unique, casual fine dining experience. We focus on using high quality ingredients and handcrafting our cuisine. We also feature many Wisconsin products that are not only high quality but also help support the local economy.

Wow! The food was amazing. Fried goat cheese balls was a first and it was delicious! Ribeye steak sandwich was tender and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended! We had some local brews that were good as well. Friendly staff and atmosphere.

Tasty little breakfast and dinner spot. We were dead-set on going to the Paul Bunyan restaurant and the gal, maybe Jesse?, at Hawks Nest Outfitters suggested we try the Aurora Borealis. I had the Reuben Omelet because I had never heard of such a thing. It was delicious. I would definitely suggest you check this place out if you're in the area.

Great service. Fabulous menu. Beautiful Northwoods ambiance. A must visit for breakfast ot dinner. I was also there for a little black dress night. They did a nice job handling a big group..

The food & service was fabulous. For a very nice dinner that's not outrageously expensive, this is THE place in Vilas county.

We stopped on our way up to Bayfield. This place reset my standards of how good breakfast should be. Our whole group raved about the food.
