Story

We are Sue & Dick Govier, owners of Aqualand Ale House. Our philosophy is the power of the little guys - the dreamers and a celebration of fine craftsmanship come together at the Aqualand Ale House. Boulder Junction has ever been a town of independent spirit, a place where the quality of life begins to settle, The beauty of the natural world, its gifts and challenges all draw and keep people coming back to visit again and again.

At the Aqualand Ale House, we endeavor to feature the tastiest and best of select artisan crafts. Enjoy up to 20 taps of craft beer, select wine, soda and port - gathered from Wisconsin, the Midwest and further for your sampling enjoyment along with appetizers or as compliment to your casual, comfortable dining.

An excellent gem in the heart of north woods Wisconsin. Cheery staff, great beer selection, and a decent menu in an atmosphere that somehow captures a north woods lodge while still feeling bright and airy. Our party of 4 walked in without a wait despite what looked like a lot of cars in the parking lot. We had pizza, a prime rib sandwich, and their grilled cheese, and all were very tasty. The bill at the end was quite manageable.

Best place in Boulder Junction to eat. Wait staff is friendly and accommodating. Flavor profiles are done well. Summer Saturday night entertainment in the beer garden most enjoyable.

Busy place to eat on a Friday night. Did not have to wait longer than 15 minutes for a party of 5. Everyone ordered something different, all were pleased. Large selection of beer also. There is a nice beer garden in back to wait for seating including a fire pit.

All of our food was great - the grilled cheese special was enjoyed by two of us, one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I have ever had. Really nice beer selection, something can be found for all likes. I'd be the a couple times a month if I didn't live 400 hundred miles away ! Definitely a place you want to go.

Food quite good, though not a whole lot of options. Service is decent, what you would expect for a small town. Their list of Craft Beers though is quite impressive.
