Auberge La Seigneurie des Monts

Love this place! Lovely owners, great rooms with views of the river, some with awesome sitting areas with huge windows. Perfect! Rooms 17 and 18 at the back and top floor are larger and private.

Stayed 2 nights June 5 & 6. Room comfortable - best bed linens, clean and quiet. Nice walking along shore, beautiful sunsets.

The room was large and very clean, however it had NO windows! There was only a windowed door to a common area and hallway so if you want privacy you are basically in a closet. There are 2 ceiling fans but still felt stuffy all night. Definitely not worth the $220 per night! The hot tub was in the bedroom directly on laminate floor, so you have to be careful not to splash. Quite noisy too.

We chose this location based on previous reviews; however this experience turned out to be very disappointing. Staff were not helpful to accommodate needs of the guests; for example we had an awful experience regarding finding a place to have our take-out meals. We were not allowed to have our own food in any of the outdoor locations surrounding Auberge property in spite of abundant empty chairs and tables. Their excuse was clearly COVID situation nowadays excuse for everyone. Local food was of poor quality and very EXPENSIVE!!! The rooms were rusted and extremely warm and humid in spite of cool weather outside, mainly due to nonfunctional ventilation. Price per night was very expensive almost the same price that I paid for Sheraton or Hilton. We also got into trouble with cost of stay, we were double charged on our credit card and had to argue with reception staff to get the extra charge reversed. The staff were mostly francophone and had a very hard time communicating with anglophone guests, meaning little experience with non-local guests. In summary, if we come back to beautiful Gaspésie, we will never choose this Auberge again.

My partner and I stayed here last summer. We had originally booked a campsite just outside town, but there was a storm and Auberge La Seigneurie des Monts was the last hotel in town with a room. The owner was very kind and welcoming to us! And the room was BEAUTIFUL! This auberge is fantastic, beautiful, historic, and so fun to explore. We had a delicious breakfast the following morning. I can't wait to come back here. Anyone staying in Ste-Anne-des-Monts should spend a night here. We also loved the art gallery located on the first floor!

Impeccably clean room. Beautiful quality bedding. Very warm welcome and friendly staff. Good breakfast. The location is very convenient and scenic. We were tempted to stay another night because we liked it and there was a snow storm

Cozy room on ground level. I needed a place to stay for more than a week with my cat. There are 2 pet-friendly rooms at this big inn. Sylvain was accommodating, offering me access to the sitting lounge, a microwave, plates and utensils. You can order breakfast sandwiches here. Due to Covid, services were limited.

The hotel is beautifully decorated. Each room has a little sitting area with a tv. Each room has a table and a desk. They are currently building an enclosed porch area in front of each room.

The location and view is great but the building is old and you can hear your neighbour snoring.
