Hugeeee portions! Amazing donair sub, great spice on the meat. They put the sauce separate when you order takeout so it doesn't get soggy which is very much appreciated. I was full after eating only half!

Atmosphere is a tough one as they only do take out/delivery, but if you haven't tried their donairs you're SERIOUSLY MISSING OUT!!! Pizza is great, could be cooked a bit longer at a lower temp but their flavours are always great! But yeah. Donair. Extra sauce. Bring an appetite

This place is the definition of hole in the wall. It doesn't look like much but it's been a favourite for almost twenty years and it's also a textbook example of a hidden gem. The donairs are huge. You know that meme where burritos are measured compared to a newborn? Yah, these are on that scale. They're not just a generous portion, they are incredibly good. Also, the sauce, my god the tzatziki sauce. It's sweet yet tangy, and goes so freakin' well with the donair or the souvlaki. Order extra sauce, and be prepared to be uncomfortably full because you couldn't stop eating, or to have two meals. I tried their pizzas and pastas recently and couldn't believe I'd waited so long. Again generous portions and a great price point, and delicious as well. You ever see that scene in the Goofy Movie with the pizza? It's that level of pizza. There was so much cheese and the crust and sauce were both bang on crucial elements to a great za. Do yourself a favour and check these guys out.

First time going there last night, I got the chicken slovaki, safe to say I was impressed, really good size portion & the amount of sauce they give you is very generous not many places give that much. Will definitely be back!

My partner picked up donairs from here a couple weeks ago. I've never seen such big donairs in my life. You can't fit your mouth around them. They are very good. I found the sauce a little sweet, but overall it was still a great dinner.

INSANELY DELICIOUS Me and my friend split one of the Donairs and it stuffed us both. The meat is spectacularly tender and perfectly spiced. Well done Athena's. Bravo.

These people mean business when it come to their Donaire‘s… Seriously the size of your forearm, great value! Only place I’ll buy donairs’s from. If you give them a try I guarantee you won’t go anywhere else. Sauce is a mix of Halifax and Tzatziki combined! Pizza is good too! Great hole in the wall!

Well showed up 2 minutes before they closed. He made me up a donair and It was the best donair and biggest I've had on the Vancouver Island. Effin delicious..thanks for making my day

Great food! We get the wraps, one is so big we can have it for two meals. Super tasty, a bit messy- yum!

Been ordering from here for at least 15 years, absolutely love their donairs and the sauce is at the top of my list... we recently ordered the ravioli for the first time and the sauce was thick, meaty and full of flavor, it also had a nice portion of ravioli, the side of garlic bread was cut perfectly in our opinion and had a nice ratio of garlic butter to bread... I have to say it was an excellent deal for $12. If your looking for a good donair or decent ravioli at a good price for the portion this is your place!! The service is always friendly.. I am happy to support and recommend a longtime family business..
