Assiniboia Animal Hospital

My little puppy Gus was very sick with parvo and they truly were so wonderful in treating the illness and bringing him back to health. Without them he would have most likely died, the frequent phone updates were much appreciated as we were sick with worry. Now he's a healthy happy puppy and we have Dr. Schwartz and Betty to thank for their tender care and constant supervision. I would highly recommend taking your fur babies to this animal hospital as they truly care and are great people.

I called right when the clinic opened at 8am In hopes of getting an appointment that day for my cat to get a vaccination I had forgotten about. The person that answered the phone was very polite and friendly and she had scheduled me an appointment for 10:15 that same day. Upon getting to the clinic, I had brought my cat in and all her paperwork from the humane society since I wasn't sure what they needed to know about my cat, as we were a first time patient there. We were interacting with the cat and dog in the waiting room and we were seen before our appointment time. The vet was WONDERFUL. She explained everything so well to me and was great with my cat! She was genuine and caring. We were in an out of the clinic within 20 minutes! I also really appreciate that the clinic will mail out vaccination reminders to me for my cat, in case I forget. Overall - it was a great experience and I am beyond happy!!!!

Assiniboia Animal Hospital's staff are amazing and treat my cat and 3 dogs very well! I love how comfortable they make myself and my animals feel with open arms in there clinic. They give the best advice when needed, and best of yet, they are excellent to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter animals in need no matter how severe the situations is. Thank you for all you guys do!

The staff at Assiniboia are very attentive and treat their patients well! I've had many good experiences with them and would highly recommend them for new clients. You can tell the staff care about their animals and when the solution to an illness isn't obvious, they'll go above and beyond to figure it out! I also love how much work they do for the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, they see and treat every animal in their care, including my two cats I adopted, one of which came in in very poor condition! A huge thank you to the staff at Assiniboia Animal Hospital for fixing him up so he could be adopted :)
