Grumpy old man with toothache calls around Ithaca, no one open for July 3 holiday, call around Syracuse, no luck. Drive to Canada for work, Apsen Dental Cortland has cars in front, MAYBE. No appointments available but front office staff great. Found a way to work grumpy old man in. Dental assistants kind and friendly. Dentist can in none of this " How' theweather stuff". Here is what I can do and he did it. In and out within two hours without appointment on a holiday weekday. Thanks front office staff. I can now enjoy my week without pain.

Everyone was friendly and efficient. They offer you a plan and you decide how you want to proceed - no pressure. Very thorough exam and consultation. The hygienist, Ryan, was very thorough and knowledgeable. Prices were less than others I've researched, based on my insurance. Give them a try if you're looking for a new dental practice.

Super, super disappointed. After calling and making an appointment and being told they accept my insurance I dragged my three year old out of bed from his nap time, drove an hour and was told that they don't even take my insurance. I was told that they tried to contact me three times. Which isn't true. They tried to call me once the day before and didn't even try to contact me the day of the appointment. (It was at 4pm) And I even got a confirmation text sent to my phone to confirm the appointment. This is awful customer service and they should never tell their paitents they accept an insurance when they really don't!! Total waste of my time and money!!

Nice place and nice people but the first company ever to "fire me" as a customer. They canceled my routine cleaning due to a change in staff and told me they have no idea when I would be able to reschedule. "It could be weeks, it could be months." Dental insurance premiums are a waste of money if you can't get in two cleanings per year. I explained this and I still don't think they understand. I changed to a different practice.

They are more concerned about making a buck then getting the patient out of pain. They have been like this for years. Wouldn't recommend even for my dog.
