Asoyama Sushi

The private rooms are really great at this sushi location- a really fun and unique experience. However, the food itself is lacking a bit. The ramen is not good - 2/5, soup is watery and lacks flavor, also the egg was hard boiled. The bento box and sushi were pretty good tho 4/5, however the only reason I come back to this restaurant is for the fun and unique experience of the private rooms.

Average prices, large menu. Tuna tasted overly fishy… yam and tempura roll were alright. Average at best. The tempura was soft and chewy on top of the roll. Not crunchy like it should be. Same with the yam tempura inside the roll. Would not return.

The bento boxes are great value! Fresh fish, pretty decent quality, but definitely pretty pricey and not necessarily the best value. Still, very solid sushi!

Good location. Very beautiful view around the restaurant of pond and outside view. Parking is available right outside the restaurant and around but in some days you might have to park across. I like the setup basically, very well planned like separate area for dine in and sitting arrangements and interior is very matching too. Green inside and outside which is refreshing.One other good thing is for pickup orders they need to get in the restaurant.Customer service is not bad. People like this location and food I guess.

Came here with my husband for a dinner, the environment is good, the food is also good, delicious. It's worth a try, but unfortunately there are no oysters that day, I want to try it later

Atmosphere is quiet and quaint. Food tastes amazing, with the sushi being unbelievably fresh. Service was spot on. This is definitely our family's go-to place when we want a high quality meal. Would recommend for all sushi fans in the Winnipeg area.

The Sushi was awesome! Went there cause I was craving sushi. Their prices vary on sushi but overall a good balance. Very nice host, my food came out so fast and my sushi was very fresh! Nice and clean! Thanks for the experience! Vegetarian options: They do have Veggie options along with sushi veggie options which I know many would appreciate.

New favorite sushi place in Winnipeg. Great options for vegans and vegetarians. The forest roll is amazing. It's the type of sushi restaurant where you can sit at a traditional Japanese table without your shoes on or at a regular table. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Where do I even start. We sat under the umbrella on the patio. This is the place you can sit on the patio having sushi and enjoying the atmosphere. Yes on Kenaston Lindenwoods there's a scenic pond and water fountain and bridge. It doesn't seem like I'm at a busy outdoor shopping centre. The staff is so friendly. There is covid distancing, your name and number are taken for trace contact if needed. Which I'm impressed with. The food, oh my goodness I ordered too much and ate too fast because it's so good. It's not fishy smelling. The presentation is beautiful. I can't remember half the food I inhaled. Reasonable prices. Prompt and courteous staff Clean Go now

Good food. Fairly priced. Service was not wonderful. We are a large group and placed a large order in the hundreds of dollars. The server seemed to not care or be terribly interested. I would go back but the service was weak enough that I will try some competitors in the area.
