You get what you pay for. First off, if I could give the sales staff a rating, I would rate them with 4 stars. However, if I were to rate the furniture itself, I would rate it with 2 stars. So, I split the difference. I bought a microfiber couch from Ashley furniture that looked decent and paid $800 for it. Unfortunately, after 2 years of NON-Abusive ownership, the foam in all of the couch-cushions has "collapsed", meaning that when you sit down on your couch, you feel the hard pieces of the frame immediately beneath your posterior instead of the soft cushioning that it had when I bought it. Now, Ashley will tout their "lifetime frame warranty" all day long, but the fact of the matter is, providing a warranty for the one thing that will NOT fail doesn't help a person much when everything around it fails and is only covered for ONE YEAR. I asked the salespeople in the store if anything could be done. They said they would have a furniture repair guy call me to give me a repair estimate to put new foam in the mattress, but he never did call me. I think I'll save my money and research furniture warranties and buy some better stuff next time around. I probably won't buy another piece of furniture from Ashley again, as I'd like an $800 couch to hold up more than 2-3 years before it throws in the towel.
