The other things we love; simple yet delicious food, craft brewed beer, fine wine and a robust cup of coffee. We're a busy spot and we encourage you to give us a call or send us an email to inquire about reservations. Hope to see you."

I would give more than five stars, if that was possible. I came here for the first time last night. The staff were all very friendly, pleasant, and polite. The restaurant was very clean, well laid out, and had a really nice atmosphere to it. The food was delicious. Everything was fresh, and flavourful. The portions were great, and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be returning, and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to eat or have a drink in a really nice atmosphere, in a place that has top quality service and food.
"You gotta eat here!". Yes; you really should eat and drink here. My partner and I dropped in for lunch today and totally loved the experience; the food; the beer; and the friendly service. I had the advocado tacos and a mixed green salad. Both were delicious. And the salad had a very good salad dressing. But the best part was the beer! They have a great beer selection. I went for the real cask ale! Dee-licious! The pints are pumped by hand from a cask. It is therefore not carbonated, which is used to get other beers flowing, so you do not get bloated after 2 ..... or 3 ...... pints. For a minute, I thought I was visiting a pub in Yorkshire, England. This is a warm and cozy pub, with regular tables, bar tables, and outside tables. It is wheel-chair accessible. And they have a unique display of over 30 tap handles as you enter. A great experience! We will be back.
Good food, got atmosphere. The pizza was delicious but if you're expecting a real pizza it's not this, it's more of a flat bread, still delicious but not a real pizza crust
We would just like to say a sincere thank you to everybody at Ashburnham Ale House for making our first restaurant visit with our little son so special. Our server, Peter, and all the staff went out of their way to make our experience go smoothly. They treated us with so much compassion, care and understanding and we are so grateful. All of the staff who interacted with us had taken the time to learn our son's name and check in to make sure he was doing well. It goes without saying we had an amazing experience! Thank you so much - we can't wait for our next visit :
Service was good and prompt. Environment was nice and pleasant. The place was bustling even on a weekday afternoon. Food was served hot. Definitely a nice place to recommend for any meal of the day. Ordered Sopa del Dia split pea soup, Lambo & the deaner salad. Soup was ok, very similar to the south indian sambhar. Will skip this dish. The Lambo was nice and well portioned. A burst of flavour and sauces, but too much going on in the plate for my taste. The salad was a healthy portion for half size and the added shrimp was juicy. If ordering, be sure to mention light on vinegerette.
Love the history behind the brand. Steak fries definitely worth trying!
Each and every visit is a lovely experience. The food is exceptional, atmosphere relaxed and friendly, and the service is, authentically, with a smile! It's one of our favourites that we bring family and friends to every time. We've been coming here for at least 5 years, and it still hits the spot w every single time.
Always great food, great beverages and wonderful staff. Drop in everytime I visit my daughter at Trent.
Ohmigod! Absolutely fantastic! Gnocchi and curry were both outstanding, not to mention the beverages. And the bread pudding for dessert - wow. Great service too. We will definitely be back.Food: 5/5
Great spot with a good selection of beer. Staff are friendly and the service was great. We only had nachos so can’t speak for the mains but the nachos were really good and a large portion:Recommended dishesNachos
