Best place for Middle Eastern delicacies, groceries and food items. Lot of varieties of baklava available here. We got mixed baklava box. Prices too are reasonable. But only one thing is staff were not attentive. We stood at the baklava counter for a long time but no one showed up to take order.
Very expensive especially the bakery section. The lady at bakery was very rude and did not paid attention to customers. Administration should take action.
This establishment is a hidden gem. It's a small Mom & Pop type place but it's great. They've got a deli, bakery and even a spot to sit and order something fresh to eat. I love this store. The prices aren't any different than other grocery stores but the quality is impeccable. I highly recommend this establishment.
If you love diverse, Mediterranean, quality food shopping you are in the correct venue. I could stay here all day. Named for the Cedar Forests in White Mountain or Lebanon as it is known today. The Cedars of God or Arz al-Rabb in Arabic is the symbol and name of this fine store as well as the flag of Lebanon. The Cedar symbol has much meaning. Cedars in this area of earth, Lebanon, have been exploited throughout history, as the wood is valuable for many uses. Even Queen Victoria protected a small area in 1876. Ancient symbol aside, for authentic Lebanese cuisine, at a reasonable price, take a look. Zatar, Yes they have it in large jars. Olives, more than I have ever seen in one place. Superb quality, instant shopping in a beautiful city, Toronto, in a great country, called Canada.
It is always a treat to come to Arz Middle Eastern Grocery. Their huge selection of pastry and baked goods, prepared foods, nuts, olives, oils, and specialty deli items is unmatched in Toronto. The store is bright and clean and the staff are always helpful and friendly. I guarantee you will find "new" foods here that you have not tasted before and that makes shopping here an adventure. Parking is tight...very tight but worth the wait. Pick your time early and there is no problem. And, as high end as it is, the prices are very reasonable. Always a treat, I recommend.
Love this Middle Eastern bakery and grocery! It’s so different from any other store, including Middle Eastern ones. So many different options at affordable prices. You can tell the quality of everything they offer here is high class and they have a ton of variety as well for things such as spices, olives, cheeses, pastries etc. There’s a space outside to eat the yummy food as well.
Excellent selection of Halal foodstuff you won’t find elsewhere in Toronto. Great service by staff make sure you get their attention, although there was only a small wait sometimes at the sweets counter, prepared dishes counter, nuts counter, restaurant counter and cashier yup we went around!. Good crowd control at entrance and fair amount of space to safely social distance and it was pretty busy too at the time. I’m so happy to have discovered this gem in the city and will keep returning. Thank you to the amazing staff!
Great selection. I have totally enjoyed their desserts and take out particularly. When I'm going on day trips I do my precooked meal shopping here. One of the best grocery store experiences and excellent customer service! @arz if you would like me to do some food photography for you and / or more food reviews, it would be a delight.
It is very disappointing, my sister got me Muhamara for me but it tastes veryyyyy acidic, its clearly ruined even though there still do have the expiry
The parking situation here is terrible. Many customers but not enough spots. The ones they do have are awkward and can be difficult to get in and out of due to the volume of cars waiting for a spot. Park at the plaza next to the store instead . The bread is freshly baked and delicious. They have a nice hot meal area. The deli counter is also lovely .
