Super cute historic cafe in the middle of the Stockade. Absolutely ridiculously good hot chocolate. Pretty please do yourself a favor and swing by when you’re in town! Great service, food, drinks, snacks, and other local items. First image is the Hot Chocolate with a shot of espresso. Second image is the B.E.C and a drip coffee Light Roast. Everything is amazing, thank you!!
So with my new obsession with coffee I searched the nearest coffee shop, to which I am happy to say was Arthur's market. The shop is on a quiet corner with a decent amount of seating inside and outside. When I first walked into the cafe it immediately gave me this chill hip hop artwork vibes/ New York City Cafe with People sitting down having conversations, doing homework or whatever. The staff were very pleasant to deal with and the Roasted Turkey & Cheddar with caramelized onion jam sandwich is something serious. Listen I never leave five star reviews but I highly recommend Arthur's market for a quick bite, amazing coffee in a very good atmosphere. Parking: Parking is along the street I didn't have an issue finding a spot close to the cafe. Wheelchair accessibility: In the back of authors there's a little ramp which leads to the back door into the cafe to which a wheelchair should fit in
Great cafe in a historic part of town facing cute square. Latte and quiche were delicious.
The absolute best baked goods in a beautiful location. The market is a perfect addition to the Stockade and the owner and staff really take pride in the space. Coffee is delicious and the take-home meals look incredible.Recommended dishesCinnamon Roll
Phenomenal. We were staying in Saratoga Springs and happily went out of our way to come back here. Lattes are amazing. The salads and sandwiches are great. The baristas are super nice. Worth a trip if your anywhere nearby.
Arthur's has arguably some of the best coffee in town! Consistently open at 7 am, know that you can walk up to the window of this market solo or with pooch by your side to place an oder to go. There are tables to sit out front where you can watch residents of the Stockade pass by or perhaps you want to dine at their back patio which gives a "secret garden" feel. When you go, budget for time. Everyone who serves you is genuinely kind but has their unique style. Kindly put, time slows down there so don't expect quick service. It may do you well to check your order for accuracy. The unique flavors of their fresh and frozen dishes are top notch. Be sure to pair your food with any of their unique beverages on hand from seltzer, kombuchas, or other. Great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts - Arthur's food is an excellent choice when you can't cook that evening. Oh, their gift shop items and variety of dairy products from Battenkill are worth checking out when you need last minute gifts for upscale giving and creative dining ideas. Work and family friendly. You can sit in peace on your laptop or enjoy a cookie with your kid. It's quiet and peaceful. Well worth your trip!
Loved the food and coffee. You should try too.
Nice store in a historic part of town. Lots of unique but pricey gifts. I do wish there were a few more options for breakfast sandwiches in their café though.
So excited for this little store that carries a wide variety of finds! It's like the Stockade's own little tose apothecary but grab and go and grocery items. The place looks quite spacious. There was everything that I expected cheeses, bread, snacks ,cards and other cool little finds. I picked up some thai chili sauce because you just never know when you are gonna need something spicy to warm up a cold winter day. I am so excited for this place. It was busy but not overwhelming. Staff were pretty on top of things. If things get busier they will definitely need to add on another person. It was experience shopping and I loved it! Check it out!
Lovely spot with a small supply of things like milk, cheese and eggs, in addition to toiletries and interesting odds and ends suitable as gifts. They also have a good selection of ready made food to take home for reheating. There is also freshly made coffee and tea, cookies and muffins, and sandwiches.
