Arirang Oriental Food Store

This is our go-to grocery store for Korean food and ingredients like meats, kimchi ready to cook Army stew, fresh produce, roasted sweet potatoes, frozen desserts, frozen Abalones, different varieties of ramen noodles, and many more! They also have kitchen stuff like clay pots, grills, induction stove, etc. A lot of Japanese items are available too like ponzu sauces, wasabi, noodles, nori, condiments, curry box and more! Parking space gets crowded on weekend, so better come on weekdays. There are a few Korean restaurants within the complex too!

A nice little Korean grocery store stocked well with Korean, Japanese and other Asian meats, veggies snacks and more!

A-Mart is smaller than E-Mart but very competitive pricing and closer to downtown. Very popular store, vegies and meats are fresh, great selection of dry and frozen products. Finding a parking spot is challenging, so, you might want to visit when the restaurant beside the store is not busy.

This is my favourite place to get Asian food like kimchi and dried mushrooms. They have a nice membership rewards program as well. Great prices to boot!

I love visiting this store. They have a great selection of food on offer, and the staff are always incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their fresh produce is always high quality, their meats are awesome and their homemade kimchi is to die for.

Too excited. Forgot to take picture. My son just moved here for his first year uni. He is craving for Japanese natto. We found it from this Korean grocery store. For those home sick Asians, you can find the comfort food here. We bought 2 packs of natto at ca5.99 … and we also got a jar of Korean yuja-tea mixing it with hot water. It’s very popular throughout Korea especially in winter. We are not Koreanbut love this drink. It will be great to have it for the winter in Calgary

Very clean market. Have fresh produce and meat here. Their beef bone are awesome to make beef soup.

They have the best prices in sliced meat. We eat a lot of vietnamese meals that uses this type of sliced beef and their meat tastes the best! Can’t go wrong with their meat for hot pots, soups, stir fry and bbq!

The store has friendly staff, good selection of Korean food. I went to get some of my favourite ramens, boba, and some crab flavoured chips. Recommend to check out the store.

If you are looking for items to prepare either a Japanese or Korean dish this is definitely the place to come to. They have all the authentic items that you will need to prepare anny dish. They also have prepared meal items if you do not want to cook but still eat the food. If you do know of item that they don't sell they have been known to bring it in on demand so just ask. The staff generally speak English so even if you are not a Japanese or Korean speaker you can still get what you want reasonably easy. Sometimes the parking lot is full but people are generally constantly coming and going so be patient. There is also street parking too.
