The drinks were too strong. The food was good but very costly for the quality. The server was distracted, didn't offer the usual appetizers or follow up deserts, and was generally disinterested in our visit. This is not a good venue for a quiet romantic dinner. The bar crowd spills into the dining area and have no thought to carrying on loud conversation next to the tables. It's really a casual sports bar with high prices.. but there's so many other dining options around that are better and less expensive.

We've been here quite a few times and it ranks as good but it's too pricey for the quality. Some of the dishes are different to be different and not to be better. If it was cheaper it could get a 4 or 5 star rating but for the price I'm forced to make it 3

So I had dinner for the first time at Archers and it was the best meal me and my date have ever had hands down. Cooked perfectly and filling even the the veggies were delicious. The staff seemed wonderful and the owner Lynn is an amazing accomplished woman. I would recommend Archers to anyone, even if a nice seafood restaurant is out of your price range you still have to try it at least once. It is definitely worth it and you will NOT be disappointed.

Meals were great! Only problem was fruit flies swarming our apple cider drink. Had to give drink back and move tables. They wanted to charge for half the drink. Would have been 5 star rating for the food and service.

My friend and I stopped in after visiting a museum. I liked the unrushed, laid back atmosphere; it's not a place to eat for someone in a hurry. Both of us thought the food was excellent, served hot and within reasonable time of placing our orders. The view of Rockland Harbor whether you choose to dine inside or on the porch is amazing. The wait staff was attentive and very pleasant. Here diners can expect good food, good service, a comfy atmosphere and awesome views of the harbor that makes for a 5-star dining experience.
