Never did I think I would wait an hour for a cup of coffee but here we are. You can place your order and come back to pick it up which is quite convenient. This coffee is worth every penny and the wait, the process of making the coffee here is very manual and focused on quality drinks. The Kyoto latte and Spanish coffee were AMAZING.Recommended dishesGood with Milk, Matcha Cream, Aromatic Cocoa
I arrived early in the morning and the queue was long. The coffees are good taste and I ordered their freshly roasted coffee beans for further understanding of their coffees. They have a great and niche collection of coffee bean selections. I asked the staff that if I order the coffee bean only can I jump the queue? The answer is “no”. I cannot understand. It took them at least 40 minutes freshly roasting the beans. If I just order coffee beans, they can take my order and I can walk around the shopping mall and collect them later. Hope they can take my advice.
After waiting one hour in the queue to get the coffee, here is my honest review. Good coffee - definitely yes Worth the hype and wait- I don't think so. I tried Kyoto latte, dark latte and Spanish latte. They are good and different. Worth the try.
Waited 30 minutes in line to order, then another 15 minutes to get our cafe latte and Spanish latte. I liked the latte strong coffee favors and texture. Would definitely come back for other lattes. Staff was very nice, James explained the different kinds of lattes they have and took us to the best spot to take photos.
I can’t imagine to spend $28 for 2 lattes and 2 pastry daily. I like the espresso coffee, rich and aromatic. The seating is terrible, it is not customer’s focus. No tray or plates for croissants, a messy outcome. You focus too much on the aesthetics and presentation. You might need to rethink how your customers are ergonomically enjoying your coffee and pastry. You should provide trays and plates, and larger tables, line them up against the wall. Chocolate croissant has one bar of chocolate inside, $5.00 there should be 2 bars as market norm. Things to improve on.
The biggest attraction is the amazing interior of the coffee shop, I had tried to visit a store in Seoul and the staff were busy training. This store was lovely and on a weekend it is worth noting the wait time will be around 20-30 minutes so come with patience! The biggest annoyance was the the cashier staring at the payment terminal to ensure that his stare secured a tip!
Originally a coffee chain from Kyoto, this is their first Canadian outpost. Their coffee is bomb. They roast your beans to order on the spot which is why you end up waiting up to 2 hours in line! They may have to come up with another way to do this because I’m not sure I would do it again, hence the four stars. I would definitely recommend however if you like the Japanese style roasted beans they can do a really light roast which really enhances the flavour of the bean to check them out!
Came here on a Monday at 11am. Very nice ambiance when you walk in. We waited less than 10 minutes for our Lattes. I ordered to 2 Spanish Lattes. The latte is silky smooth with an earthy tone. I have 2 minor complaints about Arabica; first, not knowing where to go to order we were not the only patrons to ask where to order. Second, their coffee is quite expensive. Their large coffee is equivalent to a Starbucks Tall size. Each Latte cost us $7.00. We really did enjoy their latte, but I’m conflicted on whether it was worth the money.
First time trying this coffee place, the queue to Order is not as long as the previous weekends but it takes you approximately 10 mints to get your order after you place it. We had the Cafe Latte and Spanish Latte, both tasted really good but coffees come out warm and not hot for you to drink ! I wonder if it’s because of the condensed milk. Anyway, we enjoyed it and we will definitely come back to try more items
Went here on a Thursday evening and the line wasn’t so bad about a 13 mins wait from lining up to order to getting my drinks. The coffee itself was average to be honest, maybe some coffee enthusiast’s will love it, but you’re you not a coffee person then there no point waiting in line and wasting your time as well, especially if you go on weekends and wait over an hour, that I wouldn’t recommend for anyone period. I got the iced Kyoto latte and Hot matcha I do like my coffee drinks on the sweeter side so I had to had two extra syrup packets which was in small cute packets. Overall I’d say if the line is short try it to experience. I don’t think I’ll get anything there again, unless there’s no line then maybe I’ll give this place another shot and try something else
