Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

Today I went there for a free meal for Veteran's Day. The staff, though quite busy, was kind and attentive. I don't normally use the extras offered me as a veteran but today I felt like I wanted to indulge myself. Thanks to Applebee's and a grateful nation......yes....but....some young dude had to tell me his dad was at West Point and Army people did not like Air Force people....so I told him....well...we Air Force dudes used to say:"I would have joined the Army but I was not stupid enough." Ha, ha, ha....good natured-humor between military branches....remember that?...before we all become a bunch of sensitive wimps!!!???

Very impressed. Haven't been to Applebee's in years and decided to stop in for date night. Couldn't be happier with the service and food and price!!!! Megan went above and beyond with help and kindness. We will definitely be returning!!!!

Applebee's is generally an alright place to eat. It is a little spendy for the quality of food that my friend's and I got. Their Mac and cheese can at times be a little too watery. And the steak that we got when asked for rare to medium rare was a little over cooked, they thankfully brought it back and brought us another one. The first server was lackluster, but the second one we got was pretty funny.

Pretty standard Applebee's. Not going to find scratch made cookin' or large home style portions. Service is fast and decent. Typical standardized chain restaurant.

Food is always great, time of day is a factor regarding service.
