Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

Had a good time for a quick bite. Shawna, our server, and Adrianne (I think) the manager on duty were very pleasant and attentive. Food was pretty good too. Girls liked the appetizer selections they chose. I really enjoyed the wall art in the restaurant restaurant that paid homage to the young adults at the local high school, especially the jrotc and the sports teams etc. Great support for the hood Applebee's. Keep on supporting our military also. Again, appreciated the wall art support!!

I have been disappointed both times I have come here. The first time was the worst. It took the server 1 hour to even take our drink orders. Fast forward to last week the experience was going well. I was impressed with the menu options and our server was friendly. But them my food comes out and it's bland cold. My steak was very touch and lacked spices.

We really enjoyed Applebee's last night. New menu is good. Food was very good. Service was good also.

Normally, I like Applebee's. I've gone to this location numerous times over the years. They've always been good. That is why it got 4 stars, instead of the 2 stars I wanted to give it. Almost every time, I get the bourbon street steak. It is always my favorite. But this time it was full of gristle. Over half my steak was inedible... Literally chewed as best I could, then left the rest in my napkin. But, I won't let this single experience affect the rating of years of good food and service. I just hope they take this feedback and the comments I left with our server to heart and improve things before my next visit.
