My husband and I both ordered fish and chips. Food is very fresh and made when ordered so it comes out hot. Portions are generous. Our waitress, Caroline, is excellent. She is professional, courteous and polished. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the notable wait time.
Loved the store. They had quite a selection of things to choose from. Bobs barn was very interesting. Grabbed a burger from the Cafe and it was very good and cooked exactly how I wanted. Kat was wonderful and even though they were extremely busy stayed on top of all of our tables needs.
What a great place. If you're decorating for the holidays or for the season or just looking for a gift for someone, this is the place to find what you're looking for. I could have spent hours in the store not to mention the antiques barn. The store also has a Cafe that was very busy while I was there. I was unable to stay for lunch but I will definitely be back to eat and to find my next treasure. Last but not least, everyone that works there is so friendly and accommodating. Stop in and stay awhile, you won't regret it
Excellent food but drove out from Albany for brunch. Website said 10 to 4. Got there and they said it was only from 10 to 12. Rey disappointed but we had lunch instead. It was excellent. Although, the hostess needs to be a little more inviting.
You will love it here. I highly recommend the open faced chicken salad sandwich. We started with the chips and dip and it was equally delicious. The service was excellent. I wish it was closer to home as we would be a regulars.
We love Apple Barrel! We are here for food and wonderful shopping each time we head to our “ upstate “ house. The food is spectacular, the service warm and friendly and the Shoppe is always so cute and festive! We highly recommend it!
One of my favorite places to have lunch, dinner or dessert and coffee. We also love to spend part of the holidays there. Josh is great and works hard to give customers an awesome experience.
Amazing menu, so many items, all sound delicious! Coffee bar, flavored teas, we ordered sandwiches and desserts! Amazing staff, love the atmosphere, great place! What a great find....and they are on the barn quilt trail for the county!
The food is fresh and delicious with a menu that has something for everyone. Not just the run of the mill burgers and wraps-they have a nice twist on everything. the ingredients are high quality and the service is courteous and friendly. A little gem of a cafe'.
I didn't eat at the Cafe but the store was great! Lots of very local stuff, cute things for the home, a huge holiday selection. A great place for gifts or tchotchkes, especially specific to the Schoharie region.
