Let me start by noting that many of the lower rated reviews for this gym are dated and were during a time the facility was under different management, and trust me, the management / staff now make the difference. I started at Anytime Fitness approximately 3 months ago, I had considered joining other gyms in the past but this was my first serious attempt. I was met at the door by manager, Melanie, asking how she could help, a nice difference from many gyms and their desk people simply asking you to sign in. I was given a tour and had the layout of the gym explained to me, later that day, I came in for an introductory session with one of the trainers, Lauren. The session was both informal and challenging, I enjoyed that. Everyday after that, one of the staff would greet me, ask about my workout, compliment my progress, etc. It's so nice to know you're valued and not just a source of money as I've experienced while testing other gyms. As for the gym itself, it isn't the biggest gym, but it's very efficient, what they lack in size, they make up in convenience. Work 9-5? Gym will be open in the evening. Work til 1AM and still want to work out after? Gym is still open. It's well maintained and clean, they have a good variety of machines, all of which are in great condition. And getting back to the comfort level of the gym, they, as I assume all Anytime facilities enforce some what of a dress code, making for a less distracting or intimidating experience for newcomers or people who may be discouraged by comparing themselves to others. The client base at this gym is particularly great, I spoke with a few members upon joining, all whom welcomed me, offering their help if I had questions. They have a lot of great people, doing great things at this gym, and the overall experience is something I don't think could be matched elsewhere. 10/10 recommend here if you're looking to join a gym or transfer gyms.

Friendly, clean and welcome environment. Melanie does a fantastic job engaging her members and keeping them excited to achieve their goals. I love the new app, and the new training models that are coming soon as well. Not busy like big corporate gyms and members are very friendly as well. Would definitely recommend you checking this place out.

poorly operated business, the customer does not come first. I wish I could give a lower rating for this gym. After problems I tried to cancel my membership and even after paying extra "fees" I still get calls and emails regarding me missing payments. Scam, do become a member or give them any banking info. I would only pay cash and I would not join this gym if I had a choice, which you do there are many gyms in Tillsonburg.

When I first signed up the guy completely lied about all of the fees and then quit the next week. Then the new manager was completely inappropriate towards me and other women and I stopped going. Now that he's gone I went to cancel my membership and they are still charging me for my membership and I'm fighting for my money back. Worse gym I've ever been too but hopefully they will have better luck with the new staff they seem like they have it together.
