I keep returning to Antiques By Design to purchase more lovely pieces of furniture for my home. Each one looks fabulous and has become the center of the room that I've put it in. I'm fortunate because I live in Chilliwack and I've been to the showroom many times. All the furniture is top quality and, I believe, good value. I also have the pleasure of chatting with Tammy and Dennis, who are professional and delightful. The furniture and the experience of buying from Antiques By Design are both top-notch.
We purchased a mission oak umbrella stand, a few years ago, and were really impressed with this great store! we turned it into a bedside table by adding a marble top, and it is beautiful! They so graciously held the piece for us, until we could travel from Victoria to Mission, when we planned to visit friends in the area.
I can't say enough good things about Dennis and Tammy at Antiques by Design. I've bought both an antique dining table and a separate purchase of a set of 6 dining chairs that matched the table. They have outstanding quality furniture and incredible service to get us the furniture shipped to Calgary. Their furniture is 'as advertised' which always worries me with other online stores/sites. The prices very also very reasonable given the great quality. I'll continue to watch their website for more pieces for our house. Thanks to both of you!
My husband and I recently purchased a Victorian Oak Dining Room Table from Antiques by Design. I first saw the table in the store's online inventory and when I travelled to the store to see it, I found it to be as represented online; of fine quality. I was impressed with their amazing inventory of antiques and will be comfortable ordering online in future. We really appreciated Dennis' help.
I have been dealing with Dennis and Tammy for a number of years and have purchased numerous pieces. I keep returning for good reasons. Both Dennis and Tammy are a pleasure to deal with, they are very knowledgeable and have a great selection of high quality. antiques at honest prices. I highly recommend.
Dennis knows his stuff. I use my Stickley desk every day. It is my favourite piece of furniture. If he doesn't have it, it can probably find it.
The quality of the antique furniture is beautiful. We purchased 6 pieces from Dennis and Tammy. We would recommend them to anyone interested in restored solid wood antiques.
Stopped by at the warehouse today and was greeted by the proprietor and his snooty ?wife. First thing they said to me as i entered their warehouse..."we have nothing small, everthing is over a thousand dollars." They didn't know about the 50,000 my client budgeted for me to decorate their expansive entranceway . At anyrate i found their inventory online and at the warehouse mediicre...mostly redone late century pieces, no true antiques. Save your money and your time, these people mostly have attitude to offer but not anything of value, aesthetic or otherwise.
I have purchased quite a few pieces from Antiques By Design over the years and have always found the company to be helpful and accommodating and the antiques to be well worth the price and exactly as described in the online catalogue. Antiques By Design is a very trustworthy company.
I love my desk. The craftsmanship is exquisite and my purchase experience was positive. The owners of Antiques By Design are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it!
