Hands down to its buffet breakfast! Amazingly delicious and fresh.. all timenEach and every dish is prepared with accurate amount of ingredients..nand at the end when you take that filter coffee… that is just like a cherry on the top

Tried this place for the first time today. We ordered ghee masala dosa, mutton chukka platter, parotta, mutton fry and pistachio kulfi. All the food was really amazing, and we especially loved the mutton fry and ghee masala dosa. The flavors and the spice level were absolutely perfect, and the balance of the masalas was very well done. However the kulfi was not good at all - it tasted like chemicals and totally put us off. I think they outsource the kulfi from somewhere, I hope they will find a better vendor. Very happy to find a halal south Indian place, and we will return for more.

Chettinad biryani turned out to be a disappointment as it is across Toronto in general.nnService is slow and the place is understaffednThere is one lady staff manning the takeaway counter, front desk, service. An omelette I ordered was served by the time I finished a biryani.nnClean toilets.

Tried Anjappar Chettinad in Scarborough for dinner. The ambience was okay and we got a table easily. The restaurant is known for its Authentic South Indian food.nnWe ordered Masala Dosa, Sambar Vada, Kids Cheese Dosa & Onion Uttapam for main course.nnThe Masala Dosa was great as the crepe was crispy and tasty but the potato masala wasn’t that flavourful as it lacked a bit of onions that are a key ingredient in most of the masalas. The coconut and tomato chutneys were very good.nnThe Sambar Vada was good as the vada and sambar were both tasty. However, I felt that the sambar was a bit thicker.nnThe Kids Cheese Dosa was great too. The Onion Uttapam was crispy and tasty but the size was small for the price. Other South Indian restaurants usually have a bigger size of the Uttapam.nnFor the beverages, we ordered cold Badam Milk which was just average considering it being high priced. It was just milk mixed with almond syrup. I was expecting it to include some sliced almonds and pistachios on the top as part of the garnishing.nnThe South Indian filter coffee was strong and nice after adding some sugar to it.nnOverall, the food and experience was good. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant!

We, 2 families went for the weekend breakfast buffet and we all completely satisfied with the food and the service.nThey had Idly, Dosa, Poori, venn Pongal, vada,oothappam, rasa vada, sampaar vada, kesari, filter coffee, potatoe curry and chicken gravy. All tasted good.nBuffet is $20 per person and available from 10 AM to 12 PM. It is kind of brunch and worth for the money.nnService is good and the girl who was looking after our table friendly and helpful.nHighly recommended and we will come back again.
