We went tonight and people were crammed in the 2 outside sections while the entire center section sat empty. Our server was stretched very thin which appeared to make it difficult to keep up with the number of tables she had. Our server was very nice and appeared to be working very hard however there were others that didn't appear as friendly.
Love it as always. Staff was great, courteous and the restaurantaover all was clean. As you can see my fiance's plate was not good at all. They obviously cooked hers as the Pizza was cooking and let it set. The whole plate and bread was soggy. My suggestion would be to not make a dish that takes half the time to make and let it sit while waiting for another. They handled it great and took off my bill as they should have. Not going to deter me though. Spaghetti Pizza is a must try.
The place is really big, clean and the staff interesting. Our waitress wrote nothing down and got everything correct. She did have to ask for the pizza toppings three times, but still she did ask and got that entered correctly. Kudos to this young gal. The food was good. A small pizza was too much for me alone, and I like that. Means I paid for a meal and got a meal. The chicken bacon sandwich was "ok" but the Italian combo the hubby said was really good and they don't skimp on the au jus. Huge plus. The fried mushrooms were done in a light breading and more mishroom than coating. Perfection! The bruschetta, on the other hand, disappointing. Way too much tomato to bread. And the tomato was a little off on taste. For the price, more bread and better balance on the flavor.

Italian buffet? How can that be good? I laughed reading that on the website waiting for Angelo’s to open from the parking lot. It was fantastic! GREAT salad bar, a few pasta options and SPAGHETTI PIZZA among others! All you can eat for under 15 dollars WITH a soft drink. I think it’s from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. My waitress Danielle was super nice, happy and helpful. If you’re in the area, go here!

I can't give Angelo's enough stars! We go there every weekend for their lunch buffet and it's delicious, fresh, and fast! We only spend about $60 for 6 people to eat. With pricing everywhere going up just like everything else, the Angelo's buffet is still affordable and worth it!
Had a craving for Angelo's "Special Pizza". Had the lunch buffet. It didn't disappoint. To top it off, the best salad bar in the Sauk Valley hands down. Young tall skinny man that was my waiter did an awesome job. Great service. LETS GET ANGELO'S 2 OPEN SOON !!!!Food: 5/5
My family and I used to live down in this area. We now live over an hour from here but still make the trip occasionally to eat here. It's seriously the best pizza I've ever eaten. All the food is delicious but I go for the pizza.
Visited this Angelo's in Dixon for the first time. We were familiar with their Sterling location however they are temporarily closed. Same decor as the other location. We had the buffet which consist of salad bar...pizza...spaghetti..lasagna and bread. I reccomend the salad bar lots of variety of toppings...their pizza is good when it first comes out otherwise turns rubbery. Their pasta selections at the time were depleted and not restocked. Our service was good she did check on us several times. The decor is alot of memorabilia very family orientated.
