A few weeks ago I needed a hairstylist to style my natural kinks in order to attend the award show. I search online as well as asking everyone that I thought would've known, to no avail. I never knew that it was such a heartache to find a crown adjuster. Finally, I decided to post a status in great hope to find someone or a reference. Surely, within the same hour Ebony Anita Ghadafad reached out with a reference. I contacted the referred individual and we took it from there. At that moment, I thought wow this is what it means to "ask and ye shall receive". Fast fwd... I met with Angela Gordon for a trial and she wowed me! Not only was I pleased with all of the different styles she tried with my kinks, I was also amazed by her words, the works she's doing in her community, her Godly ways and her pure heart. Our spirit connected immediately and we clicked. I must say I didn't only meet a new hairstylist.., I met a friend, a business partner and most importantly I met a queen. To you Ebony, thank you for the perfect reference. To you Angela, thank you for being you and letting your work speaks for itself. See you soon for my trim.
If you're in Toronto, or you don't mind traveling to look exceptional contact Angela Gordon. She's a blessing.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A RELAXER! The number 1 rule of touch ups, is not to apply it to already relaxed hair, and Angela did that to my hair. She also left the relaxer on for too longer. My hair used to be thick and my hair has fallen out and is beyond dry and stringy.
They can style hair here, but they are not educated on how to care for hair to keep it healthy (the stylists all wear weaves, so I've learned to only take advice from people who don't have to wear fake hair).
It is going to take me a long time to grow back my hair and I am really upset because Angela thinks she knows what she's talking about but she does not. Hair is something that takes so long to grow back and I really feel like hairdressers should have to have licensing to apply a relaxer.
DON'T GET A RELAXER HERE - you've been warned!
