Angel's Diner

Side salad was big and a huge portion Montreal smoked meat too. Service from Eileen is always phenomenal! Restaurant is well worn but food is always great!

This is our first visit to Angel's diner... And it won't be our last. The menus were huge and everyone had lots to eat. Our server was quick and friendly. The interior is well decorated and fun.

A poor imitation of an American diner. The service was good but the food was not. Something was not quite right with the peameal bacon, it had a very odd after taste. The pancakes tasted like onions the grill might not have been cleaned properly. They also had no hot sauce.

Thought this place was okay the first 2 times I came here. Nothing special. They always make you stand and and wait to be seated. Today the place was dead when I came in. Maybe 5 tables with with people seated. The same waiter walked passed me twice and gave me a dirty look the second time. Another one walked by me. I just left and won't go back after waiting over 5 minutes.

They have great food. I wish they were open more. I tired to order out today but they were closed. That's ok I will order on Friday!

We arrived at 8:45 with only 2 other tables to be served. Our order was taken promptly. Our server continually answered with “no problem”, not once did we hear a “you are welcome”. The food came out quickly and hot. A different server brought us our food and once again after thanking her the response was “no problem” we were beginning to think we were a problem??? I ordered a side of fruit that didn’t ever arrive. I wasn’t able to ask for it because our server didn’t return. The bus girl cleared our table, she was very cute and friendly. She was carrying another tables dishes when she stopped for ours. The other server stood beside her, hands empty and commented on how such a little girl could carry all those plates and walked away empty handed. We saw our server the second time with our bill and of course the fruit was on it. We waited for her to return and she didn’t. I found her at the bar with the other server and explained why there was so little tip but if she fixed the bill there would be more for her. One other thing to mention. The table across from us sat dirty full of dishes the entire time we ate our breakfast. I wasn’t asked if I would like more hot water for tea and the coffee pot walked by our table as we were leaving for my husband. I may be critical because I serve breakfast 5 days a week, but please let your servers know it isn’t polite to reply with “no problem” and a bus girl is there to assist not to do all the dirty work.

Cozy design, friendly service with delicious food. I adore the old-fashioned layout of the place, as it's not often I stumble across a cozy diner like this. The waitress was so friendly and even exchanged jokes with us towards the end, the food was sent out rather quickly and it was really delicious. Vegetarian options are pretty limited in most places these days, but the veggie burger was perfect. I can't wait to visit again. :

This morning we had the pleasure of being served by Madelyn. Several things were simply fantastic about this diner. Madelyn was pleasant, compassionate and apologetic about us having to wait for a seat. The food was fantastic, the service quick and efficient. This was our first time for breakfast and we will be back.
