Helpful staff when managers are working, but part-timers are what you'd expect. "Good luck" is not a particular response I'm looking for when trying to find a specific product. Nicely laid out store though, kept clean and cashiers are all great.

1st thingy I noticed here as I entered the grocery store was the huge teddy bears. I thought must be a great place to have a box of big bears in there and sure enough it was pretty clean and epic inside. I will certainly be returning for sure. Well done guys!!!

Staff are awesome. Produce is trash and selection is weak. I will drive to Carleton place to buy groceries. Its a running joke that what doesn't sell in CP goes to SF.

Independent Grocer is by far my absolute favorite place to shop for groceries. I love the cleanliness, friendly staff and all of the options and amazing ideas for meals. I like to come here when I want a nutritious and tasty lunch. There is a big salad bar with both ethnic and simple dishes. Another bar area serves more cooked or fried meals. Lots of prepackaged snacks and lunches are available and everything is relatively affordable. A good way to save time and money by avoiding restaurants, while having the freedom to create your own meal. Lots of grocery options for everyone.

I had to stop in for a few things on my way home to Seeleys Bay. Wow, I am thinking of driving 45 min there to shop. There is so much variety in every product that I have never seen in any other store. Fresh bakery. Fresh veg. The staff are sooo friendly. The cashier told me to pass her my bag and she would pack it for me... What?! I was happy they didn't offer self check but sadly they were installing it that day.

Best "YIG" store in the region by far. Definitely an owner with a big heart. Love supporting a store that so community focused. Thank you for supporting numerous local charities and events.

Show up looking for sale burger and regular grocery don’t see any out ask and am told they are grinding some now? I waited 40 minutes they bring out every other kind of meat? Nothing seriously

Nice place and nice people, they have great service, I love their pastry ... very good stuff. The only issue I find it a bit pricey some times .. Best Regards!

Self checkouts are a blessing. I like bagging my own groceries and not feeling like I'm bothering anyone.

Great place to stop for a nice quick and cheap lunch always my go to when I’m in the area, very clean store and easy to find everything you need all staff members are really kind. They always have good prices and deals on too extra bonus!
