Best bed and breakfast in Durham Region! Nothing else compares.

A huge thank you to Liz for hosting our small and intimate 17 guest wedding this August (2016). We were blown away by the service Anderson House provided us with. Liz went above and beyond what she should have to keep everything flowing smoothly on my wedding day (even things that weren't necessarily her job). The grounds are absolutely stunning, the food is superb! Our guests had an amazing time and even mentioned hosting some events of there own with Anderson House in the future because they had such a great experience on our wedding. Thank you so much Liz for all of the care you gave me making sure everything was perfect. I cannot thank you enough :)

First time I've ever stayed at a bed and breakfast, the house is a palace out of the Victorian era and the owners are very nice. I would definitely stay there again.

My daughter, Sara, was married in Oshawa on August 23, 2009, and my other two daughters flew in  - one from Halifax and the other from Calgary ( with a nine-month old) to be bridesmaids. Everyone was tired and looking forward to some rest.

I honestly believe that we could not have had such a beautiful wedding without Liz and Jamie's help at Anderson House.  They literally let us move into their beautiful Victorian home and treated us as family, not guests.

Jamie let me practice my "mother of the bride" toast, telling me what to leave in and what to omit.  The dogs, Eugene and Nellie, were not very interested in my toast to the bride, but they were there as well. Sara has some beautiful wedding photographs because of Liz and Jamie's generosity - they opened up their property to the photographer and crew.

The rooms were perfect; the food magnificent, and the personal service and interest all eight of us experienced from our hosts for the five days we were there were nothing like I've ever experienced before.

If you have plans to be in the Oshawa area, this is THE PLACE to stay.  You will be amazed.

Thank you again Liz and Jamie.  I''m looking forward to another visit.
