Americas Best Value Inn Clearwater

No bad. Clean room and shower. Needs a more comprehensive remote for the TV. The shower soap pumps sucked but worked. The AC unit was a little loud but not too bad. The room warmed up over time necessitating the AC in November. I would stay again. Much better then others I've seen of the same chain.

No towels, in the swimming area, staff was polite n courteous, rooms were clean, shampoo dispensers on the wall were filled with body wash, not good to wash your hair with. Unfortunately it rained hard in the morning n the power went out, I couldn't finish my review, bummer no HBO

Nice people, but constant cigarette smell. It was non-smoking so not necessarily the hotels fault.

We had a quick stay between destinations. Got there about midnight and left by 9 am. As I've read, the hallways were a little musty. Not smokey but musty. My husband had a little bit of a headache in reaction to either the smoke (we were in a nonsmoking room but the hallways) or pets (which are allowed for a fee). Still, the location was a great halfway for us to break up the drive for our kids. Our room had 2 double beds, a desk and upholstered rolling chair, a living room type chair, mini fridge and microwave, large dresser that I think used to house a tv but now it's a big LCD on the wall above. Plenty of space although queen beds would be really nice. Great location right off 94 across from Clearwater Travel Plaza for pastries as big as your face, sandwichea, etc. The room was pretty clean which is always a good thing!

Great location. It was clearly a smoking and animal allowed hotel. The room was clean and well taken care of but my animal alleggy said I wasn't the first one to use it.
