It all sounds great until it’s time to fix things... then good luck getting any sort of reply. Our 2 month review was done at 5 months after several attempts to contact them eventually going to other people in the company for a response. Once they come out and you tell them the issue they either don’t fix it or ignore you hoping you’ll go away. When you put a couple hundred thousand dollars into something you hope the people who built it care too... that was not the case with Alquinn at all. I think you could do a better job if you had the contractors numbers yourself and skipped the warranty team all together. Things may actually get done.

My husband and I bought a spec home with Alquinn over two years ago and I have nothing but positive things to say. The quality of work and interior design of the home is exceptional. We always get compliments on how well the home is built and any small issues we had was addressed in a timely matter. I would highly recommend Alquinn to anyone in search of a beautiful new home.

Moved into our new home February 28, 2018. Two weeks later water stains were visible on our living room ceiling as water was leaking from the upstairs master bathroom. Contacted alquinn and they sent someone out to look at it. Turns out they basically need to renovate the bathroom in order to fix the issue and told us not to use the facilities anymore until it could be repaired. Multiple phone calls over the last 2 months to try and follow up yet we still don’t have any dates to repair the issue. Also haven’t received any response to our inquiry regarding scheduling our 2 month inspection as there are other issues we have identified in the meantime. I am now 8 months pregnant and don’t know how we are going to get these renovations and repairs needed to our home done in the midst of having a newborn. Alquinn is aware of our situation however obviously doesn’t care.

My husband and I didn't end up building with Alquinn (thank God) however we have friends that did and they've had a nightmare of a time. For us, we had signed papers for a corner Greenbury lot and had been clear from the start we had a bunch of customizations we wanted if we were building. They agreed no problem. But every single time I had a customization they ALWAYS pushed back. The final straw was when Jan and Tatiana, our sales reps, started yelling and crying about me bullying them because I wanted an apple tree instead of a poplar, which fit the community codes no problem. The owner lied to our face about firing Jan and we luckily found out the day we were going down to sign papers because we misunderstood what location he wanted to sign them at. This place may build beautiful homes for people who want the cookie cutter, but if you want anything taylored brace yourself for a nightmare of tears and drama. Over a freaking apple tree. What a joke. We love Dolce Vita and have 0 regrets ditching alquinn.

Alquinn built a nice product, I don't have many complaints with the house itself; however I have issues with their sales/customer support. My wife and I built a house in Greenbury (Spruce Grove), Greenbury has something called a 'Green list' which the builder has to meet certain criteria. Alquinn is very confused by this list, even though other builders in the area seem to know about it, Alquinn doesn't have a clue. There are several criteria which they didn't meet, when I asked them about it they tell me that are not going to fulfill those obligations. If you do buy with them make sure you get it in writing, even if it's in writing make sure you get it in writing again.
