2023 gouging is coming,did it to us now my son, $982.00 must be paid in 30 days or policy is cancelled. Stick it up your shareholders a**. It's a sketchy industry and this is why, white collar criminals. Time to contact you MP and consumer affairs. But remember the Gov makes tax dollars off this so it might be hard to get an elected welfare recipient to act unless there's a photo op. "Corporate Greed"
I am concerned that I was charged $192.00 and just have a refund of $77 back as per your colleague. I don’t think this is fair on my part. I called other insurance company because I need to have home insurance because it is part of oir contract to pur mortgage payee. As per your colleague, I am INELIGIBLE for a home insurance policy and needs to contact other company and I did that because as per my lawyer as well I need to have that home insurance asap. I was not instructed I am covered til August 17 for a home insurance as I am INELIGIBLE in your company. Without being said, I just want to have my $192.00 back. I don’t think it is fair on my part to be charged by your company without my consent as I AM INELIGIBLE FOR THE HOME INSURANCE. My only concern is just my money back $192.00. I am on the other line with your colleague and now for the third time they just hung up on me they just said they will put me on hold. This kind of service is unacceptable they can’t even explain to me what is happening. I hope you understand. I hope someone will make an action about this. We, client will pay if we know we are getting what we are paying for.
Well I will Start from the beginning, my car quit so I sold my car that I had insured, bought another vehicle for the time being dodge Journey. My wife and I found something more suitable with more room. For a brief, moment, about 2 weeks we had 2 vehicles insured. of course sold the Dodge journey and stayed with our ford explorer which had more room. Come to find out our original car that we sold had a multi car discount on it, somehow even though we had only 1 car. When I had added the explorer they must have discovered their mistake. They removed the multi car discount and now I'm expected to pay the difference until my insurance renewal in Aug, about 3 months, Approx. 65$ a month until Aug., so they said they are going to add the difference to my next bill. FOR THIER MISTAKE. On top of all of that our new policy with the new vehicle ford explorer was $175 a month. Which is nuts considering both my wife and I have great driving records and no claims. not to mention it only took 2 phone calls for quotes from other business to find out they are about $65 a month higher than everyone else. but there's nothing they can do All of this after waiting on hold for 20 min looking for someone to speak to, I finally get through, get transferred and they hang up. it seems I have had nothing but grief ever since I've switched over to you folks. I have tried to be patient but things keep coming up that are ridiculous. Originally when I called to cancel my car that had broken down and sold they couldn't even find out policy, or couldn't get into it to make any changes and took about 3 phone calls over 3 days to get it sorted. We will be going with somebody else and I really don't feel comfortable paying extra for someone else mistakes. $63 for 3 months till renewal 178 total and a 175 for July payment. So Julys bill is about $400. For insurance on one car........... This is not meant to be a nasty email or review. Simply what some people go through when customer service is bad or provide a bad service. I will say! I did receive a call back from a gentleman in Fredericton that did look into it for me and called me back the next day with an actual explanation. which was helpful Unacceptable to be expected to pay for someone else mistake. That being said Id hate to see what the rate was for my old Honda civic had I not been getting a discount! I'm not sure where the rates come from but seems to be head and shoulders above everyone else.
I called to get a quote for home insurance, they took all my info and said they would call me back later that day or the next and they never called me back.
Poor customer service and high premiums. Despite having bundled both home and auto insurance policies with ZERO claims over 30 years with Allstate, my premiums have increased 15 to 20% per year. So much for loyalty. In good hands with this bunch? I don't think so. The good news is that 3 reputable, long established companies have given me cheaper quotes on similar policies.
Gordana Rioux has been the BEST insurance advisor I've dealt with over the years. She is always quick to answer my emails or questions, always ensures my policy has all of the "bundle discounts". I work in Sales/Customer Experience and Gordana always goes the extra mile to ensure her clients are satisfied.
Fantastic to deal with! We recently opened a claim and they had a team at our house within hours, we were very impressed!
