The service is great and very knowledgeable. You may get scared away by the big mess inside but it is what it is. However, their advertisement is often fake. I once went to see the Aeron chair, listed as “like new” shown in a perfect condition with pictures. I went in, and a disappointment- plenty of scratches, including bad scratches on the armrests, loose and squeaky. Far from “like new”. I bought the second hand aeron elsewhere, cheaper and better condition. Same thing happened when I went to see the Embody - perfect pictures, awful real condition. When I asked where is the chair in “like new” condition shown in the advertisement, I was told they had multiple embody chairs available in storage and the floor model is what I can get. I decided to order a brand new embody that was about $700 more, but you get the brand new chair and the remarkable HM warranty. Like new means like new - it’s been used, but it’s still like new. No scratches, no squeaks, no loose elements. If the chairs are in different conditions, don’t list them under one category. Saves you the time with disappointed customers.

Got a Herman Miller Celle a few months back, with minor wear and tear, and with a couple of WD-40 drops feels and works like a charm. I use it daily about 3 to 5 hours, with no issues I Love it. Also, got recently a foot rest which works just fine as well. Justing was very helpful on both purchases. Great customer service. Thanks!

This was my second purchase at Allsold. Darrell and his team are amazing. We bought a vacuum that served us well years ago, and this last year when my husband had to work from home we went back to Darrell for a desk chair. It is such a comfortable chair! Saved my husband's back while he was working from home. Thanks again Darrell for having great selection and a variety of price points.

This isn't meant to go against Allsold, this is just my experience with purchasing used office furniture: I needed a chair for work and wanted something that would last longer than a cheap big box store chair. I bought a SitOnIt chair from here because it seemed better quality. After about 4 months, the piston went causing it to sink when you sat on it. It's not uncommon for this to happen and I hoped that was the only repair that would need to be done it. Then a few months later I set my arm down and the arm rest snaps off completely. The place where it cracked was all metal, which I figured would be the last thing to break. I've thrown more money at this chair only for it to end up in the garbage after not even a year. Bottom line is, you get what you pay for. Maybe you'd be better if you got something that doesn't get beat up as much as a chair, like a desk?

Our first experience with allsold was so successful that we went a second time 2 years later. We first bought a steelcase chair which is still doing really well. We then bought another steelcase chair and 2 footrests. Justin helped us both times and is super helpful. He is so knowledgeable and easy to approach.

This guy is a joke. I called him the owner asking about a desk which I found on Kijiji. He told me to take a look on store website and decide. I drove from far N.W. Calgary with cash money in my pocket to buy it and when I reached his location he was talking on the phone for 20 minutes. After that around 4.35 PM he told me that he couldn't come with me to the other location 5 minutes walk away cause he was supposed to pick up his daughter. Seriously is this the new way of doing business in Canada? If you have to work until 5 PM like you advertise than work until 5 PM. What an example for his embarrassed employee. If I could give him -5 stars I would give it to him. Not to mention how dirty is in his store.

Darrell was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and kind in helping me figure out which office chair worked best for my setup. I'm not in the same province, but he took the time to speak with me, to highlight certain brands, and to help me find useful resources. Highly recommend Allsold!

Darrell was incredibly accommodating to me, and even offered to stay after hours so that I could make the trip from Edmonton to pick up my purchase. You can tell he has years of knowledge and expertise around every bracket of office furniture and appliances. The only reason I cannot leave 5 stars is because I almost didn't get to make the transaction due to the poor communication skills of his staff. When I called in I was often greeted with anger and bitterness, and my emails were left unanswered when the person I was inquiring to stopped communicating with me and lied to the owner saying I didn't want to buy. You can tell Darrell along with this staff get a lot of rigamarole from unsavory customers trying to low-ball what are already the BEST prices you will get for exceptionally high quality office equipment; so try not to take any shortness to heart. My recommendation is to make the drive down and do business face to face if your schedule allows for it. I will definitely be coming back in the future!

I'm a fan. Allsold has very helpful and knowledgeable staff with plenty of inventory to select from. I picked up an awesome Steelframe Leap chair for a fraction of what these chairs cost new. It's made working from home vastly more comfortable. It is important to take your time when picking out a chair and it's helpful that Allsold has so many chair models available for you to try. They also have plenty of other office furniture and equipment. Give them a shot, it certainly turned out great for me.

With working from home, I decided it was time to buy a good chair, a good friend of mine suggested to give Allsold.ca a call. I made an appointment with Darrell, Darrell was really friendly and showed me all the features of the Steelcase Leap V2 chair I was interested in, he also took the time to show me other items that I showed interest in. What I loved and appreciated about dealing with Darrell is that I did not feel pressured or rushed to buy anything, and he was very knowledgeable. I had a great conversation and I am very happy with my purchase from Allsold.ca.
