Knock on Wood Calgary

I bought a farmhouse style table for my wife for Christmas from Knock on Wood and surprised her with it, in the matter of a few days the table started to split. I am no woodworker, but my guess is he didn’t leave room for the wood to expand once it was climatized in our warm house. I reached out to the owner of the company who said "that’s a rustic quality", but the table is not built with aged wood, it’s new wood. He then assured me all would be well, implying that he would fix it once he was back to work from the Christmas holidays. Since then he has blocked my number and won’t return emails or messages. We have two kids, are working parents, and this custom table was a splurge item for us. Since this man has decided to not fix it or live by his word of “best quality of handcrafted wood furniture” according to his website, he's basically left us high and dry. We are now owners of a crack with a table around it. Buyers beware.
