A nice Diner, with the expected diner menu and vibe. Wonderful atmosphere, service and overall experience. Prices are reasonable, food portions are quite close to perfect and delicious. Was prepared exactly as I requested . Very little left over, so very little waste. Coffee was topped up regularly and service was excellent and non-intrusive. Very clean and welcoming. Quite satisfying experience, and we will return again. #localguide
I stumbled upon this diner after intending to visit Schnitzelworks but realizing it was closed. Wasn't sure about its quality at first, but I left with a homely feeling I've never experienced at any other restaurant. I ordered Spanish omelette and French toast and enjoyed it. The potatoes were perfect and the portion just right for brunch. I wish there were fruits though. The restaurant was clean and the owner always wore a mask. A very lovely lady who exudes warmth and made me feel that I belonged. Be sure to chat with her if you're here. A gem.
Over-priced food. If you wanted home fries or bacon with your breakfast, you had to pay extra. It would have cost me almost $3.00 extra to add onions to my home fries as well! Waffles were almost $13.00 and they didn't come with anything. No fruit salad or baked beans. The menu selections are not that great nor the prices reasonable. Saturday morning, the place was empty except the owners and two patrons who didn't mind talking loud at all. Bathrooms were clean. ***Friendly Suggestion*** To the owner: Maybe wearing so much heavy cologne isn't such a great idea for Saturday mornings. Perhaps you might want to save it for Friday night club scene?
If you are looking for an old style diner, where the food is really good, service is very good and the menu is varied and prices are reasonable this is the place!Food: 5/5
11.15 past breakfast $2.00 upcharge and charged for tea. Be careful of the menu prices for sandwich only upcharge for plate. Been here before was disappointed tried again will not returnFood: 1/5
Super friendly staff and great portion sizes. A bit out of the way but if you are hungry and in the area it is a great homey restaurant. Mostly it services the warehouses, car lots, and businesses in the area. Make sure you save space for their delicious deserts, the pie is fantastic and homemade.
Super cute mom & pop shop. They care : the food and people are warm
REALLY good coffee. Bottomless too. The ham is deli meat and the beans aren’t breakfast beans, but otherwise the food was great. Really nice folks. EDIT: Sorry - didn't mean to offend with the beans thing! Breakfast beans are traditionally sweet. These are savory, like barbecue sauce.
So good!! The waitress owner? was so friendly, welcoming and kind to my kids. It's not always easy to dine out with two pre-school-aged boys, but she made us feel right at home. The place feels authentic. People, real-home-cooked food, and the atmosphere. My only wish is that the coffee with breakfast was bottomless - that would make this place perfect!
Took my oldest son out for a bite, he loved the place. Family restaurant, very friendly, clean and home like feeling. Great food, good portion size and tastes awesome. Homemade soup and desserts. Been coming here for years, always happy with my visits. Today was my son's first time here.
