We tried their fresh + frozen parathas, chicken & beef pie, and chicken wrap - everything tasted amazing!! Just wish the wrap was thinner and easier to eat, but it was perfectly spiced and tender.
I visited Alimas roti for the first time today and my only regret is that I didn't visit sooner. Their staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Their food is well priced and full of flavor. Their menu will leave you spoilt for choice. I think I shall take out from here often. Keep it up guys!
Consistently high quality and generous quantity of traditional Caribbean food favourites. The staff is courteous, polite making their loyal customers feel at home. The location is a little off the beaten path for some but definitely worth the drive.
Went to Alima's for the 1st time on Saturday. Will definitely go back! Pros: -Dhal puri - bought frozen and they warm up very well after 45 to 60 seconds! - Potato ball tastes good, bit too much geera for my liking but still good - cassava pone, one of best I've had, not a big fan of a lot of black pepper and Alima's had just the right amount - cheese rolls [6 pk] we large and crispy and had a nice flavor - warm them up they taste much better Cons: - No unit number listed for their address, not being from the area we circled around in the dark looking for them - The sauce for the potato ball was a bit tasteless and watery.
I mean, if you like roti and all that goes with it. The best in town for me. I stick with what I know. Never dissatisfied. But please have polouri every dayFood: 5/5
I recommend this roti by far as the best roti place in Brampton I go here every time I go into Brampton, service could be better, staff can be rude at times, not the best atmosphere, feels like when you go to a butchers get a number get called up get your order and leave right away. Vegetarian options: They have options to accommodate vegetarians. Parking: On busy times and summer days parking is a hassle.
Last Wednesday we had their Aloo Parathas, Regular Parathas, Beef and Chicken wraps, always found them fresh and tasty, buying food from this place for several years now and always found everything fresh, best in quality and taste, keep it up. Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian options to choose from.
I was the first customer today at around 11.00 am after completing my fasting blood work. I was looking forward to my Channa and Potato Roti but was really with the food. I ordered Doubles as well and was surprised that the order was ready in just a few minutes. When I phoned the lady to ask if they had a new chef or the food wasn't fresh, I got some attitude back that was unappreciated...a customer is always right and there's a lot of competition now in the busines Needless to say that I will not be going back to Alima because I can do much better elsewhere.
Had 2 Aloo pies, they were ok. The sauce provided wasn't closed properly, it leaked out in the bag. Otherwise, it was ok. Vegetarian options: Many items on the menu are vegetarian options. Parking: Ample parking.
Great West Indian food!! Chicken and shrimp curries are always delicious and flavourful with the right amount of heat. The pepper sauce is okay but not much flavour just heat. I buy roti for parties here regularly. They are usually really busy so make sure to call your order in ahead of time. During major holidays give at least a few days. They have fresh and frozen meals as well as roti so you can buy their great food and enjoy it at home anytime.
