Algoma Beach Motel

I actually didn't stay at the hotel, but wanted to look at the beautiful view of the water! It definitely has that and from the outside of the hotel it looked decent.. Great location as well.

Place with an AMAZING view!! Fire pits outside to have fire by the waterfront. Great place in a great city. Quiet and peaceful

Rooms are small but comfortable and well appointed, including a mini fridge. Continental breakfast is very limited; I would recommend bringing breakfast items with you (and taking advantage of the in room fridge). Close to Door County, where we were headed. If you just need a one night stay or a home base for exploring in the area, this is a great choice.

Awesome veiws, good price. Here are the highs and lows. HIGHS, nice veiw, great location. You can walk to the downtown area in minutes. LOWS, the bathrooms are not well maintained. Had mold on the shower head, paint flaking on the shower wall, and the towels are either wore out, or have holes in them. The front desk has a nice young girl 18 yo working who is very nice, but doesn't live in town and really cannot give anymore info on the local attractions than I can get on the Internet.

Listening to the waves hitting the Shore right outside your windows, watching the sunrise from your deck or walk from your door thru the sand to the waters edge to see the sunrise . Beautiful.
