Alfa Smoked Meat

Look past the aged exterior, walk over the well worn floor, approach the counter that no longer has stools at its edge and order some smoked meat. This charming father &son duo work so well together. After a long super hot day, they are still making jokes and serving up the best smoked meat we've ever had. Piled high and tender, not overly salty. We are not certain how they make money with the amount of cheese curds on their poutine that almost equals the volume of home cut fries. Traditional glass bottles of soda served on the side.

The place is a hidden gem of sorts. The smoked meat poutine was really good and even the small serving was more than plenty to satisfy my hunger. I also got the special sub with steak, pepperoni, and smoked meat which was also great and needless to say i was stuffed. Good price for great food.

DeLICIOUS smoked meat club sandwiches! And the fries are so good and they give you a GOOD sized portion. Highly recommend stopping here at least once. The decor is a little outdated, but who cares when the food is this mouth-watering.

Amazing poutine and smoked meat. The small poutine is a very generous serving size for the price. This is a family owned business with very friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Stumbled across Alfa while looking for my Airbnb and couldn't have been happier with my luck. An easy 10/10. Great food, well priced, large range on the menu and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I visited a few times over my stay and tried a different dish each time and was more than happy with every dish. All were very filling and tasted delicious.

Absolutely love this place ... I am not a big fan of poutine but this one is just amazing. The smoke meat is also very good. Simply loving it .
