Taka Taka Souvlaki

This place is not expensive, imagine for 1 whole chicken, salad, fries and rice are only 30$ taxes included already. The taste of the food, was delicious, I love how the chicken is juicy and not over cooked same withe the fries then regards with the salad it was authentic Greek salad. What a great place to eat with family and friends.

I reckon this is the best poutine place in Montreal. I’ve been to the “best” places and the fries are garbage, so small and flavourless. Here, the fries are large and tasty, the gravy is delicious and they’re super generous with the cheese curds AND it’s way cheaper, like by 30%! Service is always friendly from the Greek fella at the grill.

The absolute Best Greek food in town. Adore this place so much. Owner is a great guy, food is always quick and fresh. I drive across town for their chicken !Food: 5/5

Inexpensive compared to similar restaurants. The fries were well seasoned. The souvlaki was very tasty. Surprisingly, there were fries in the souvlaki. Would recommend and go back.

Went there a couple of weeks ago and ordered 2 porc pita's. The meat was mushy. Pork souvlaki should be on stick, cut in cubes and cooked on a charcoal grill or cut from a spit roaster, like most Greek restaurants do. Its as if, I was eating mushy pull pork, everything was mushy especially the tomatoes. If you want to stay in because and if you want your customers to come back, don't cut corners, operate your restaurant like mostly all other Greek restaurants in the city.

That was really good! The rice and the salad is fantastic and the pickle dressing is a first one for me. 5 stars straight up!

I’ve never really written a review but I felt compelled to write my first for this restaurant. This was honestly the worst Greek food I’ve ever tried. The chicken in the pita was shredded down so much that it became like a paste and it was already bland to begin with so I imagine that they were hoping this would hide the poor quality of the meat it did not. The rice was dryyyy like the Sahara and tasted nothing like it was supposed to - pretty sure it was stale due to the inexplicable hardness of the grains and the total lack of flavour. There’s a lot more that I can say but the other 1-star reviews already have similar comments. Kind of flabbergasted that anyone would give this place more than 3 stars and even that’s being generous. Obviously will never be ordering from here again.

Great food. Great value. It's not a five star sitting area but the prices reflect that and the food is good. I think take out is the way to go with this restaurant. Thick cut fries, and an excellent Greek salad.

Buy the dark and warned down deco you wouldn't go eat hear. But the food is fresh, cheap for really generous portions and really good. Try it
