This place is. You want somewhere to go hang out on a Friday night? Come out and volunteer, and meet some new people! We haven’t had the free time to be able to come out to volunteer recently due to some family issues. And but, if you want somewhere that you can go do feel welcome, and feel like you got something accomplished. This is absolutely it! It’s so rewarding to know that the time you spent here is going to help feed families in Northeast Ohio. Dan Flowers and his staff are special people, and I hope they continue to do the stellar work here that they have been doing for years.

I volunteered there many times. It really fun volunteering there. They tell you what your impact is at the end of Saturday morning volunteer. After volunteer 5 times in one year, you become a very important volunteer and get a red water bottle.

An A1 charity. If you need help they can help you find a pantry however bear in mind that the foodbank distributes food to 8 counties and different pantries and programs and is not a direct to public pantry. This is a wonderful place to give your time or donate funds. Every 1 dollar they Receive they provide 4 meals to deserving people who are food insecure. If you need help they can assist you in finding the right program near you. Also a fun place to volunteer and a great atmosphere for all ages.

I'm just wondering, I here people say how great it is. Which I'm not arguing because me and my family depends on this place. But I keep getting rotten food and food with bug eggs in them. And the staff that bag the food has to be able to see this stuff.

An excellent and up-to-date facility that allows local food pantries and soup kitchens to have the resources they need to feed those who are food insecure. The people here genuinely seem to care and the mission that the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank plays is an incredibly important one for the local communities that surround it.
