Aji Sai Japanese Restaurant

Great food and great service! Food was amazing, came on time and was precise! I can't say anything negative, I loved everything. Food was fresh and on point! The staff was friendly and always had a smile to greet us as we walked in. Would definitely recommend it and I'm coming back for sure!

As someone who does sushi at home, this is the only sushi restaurant that I go now. The food is incredible their torched nigiri is divine!, Everything fresh, fish cut to perfection, the staff is kind, service is fast. Inside the place is amazing, I love the ceiling in the middle of the restaurant. Price is fair for the AYCE. After testing all sushi restaurants in Barrie, I can testify this is the place to go!

Best Japanese food restaurant in Barrie! Service is great. I don't like spicy food and they readily agreed not to put spicy mayonnaise on my meal. If you don't know, it's worth checking out.

Last night I finally got to try Kino Sushi in Barrie! Uncertain of what had become of the beloved Aji Sai that formerly stood in its place, I’d been curious about this new one, but sad to see them go as well. Truly though, if it had to go, this was the best possible replacement. Their staff are amazing, and the food is soooo good! I’ve never had torched sushi or rolls before, and now that’s all I want to eat — thankfully I overestimated last night and had some to take home. The art redesigned on the walls is so cute too. Pretty sure I have my new favourite spot. Vegetarian options: Although I’m no longer veg myself, I noticed there are lots of vegetarian options to choose from - including torched veg selections too.

Fantastic food, great servers and nice and clean and modern. Torched rolls and sushi was yummy. The Hawaii rolls were so cute with the pink paper and heart shape.

Firstly, the wall art in the restaurant is incredible! Secondly, we ordered take out and we’re pleasantly surprised, moved to Barrie recently and happy Kino is so close. Great portion for the party tray, everything tasted great!

I’m rarely one to leave reviews, but I’m very pleased with this restaurant. I’ve been in a couple times, staff are super friendly and helpful, the food is great and comes out quickly. The atmosphere inside is very calming which I like. My new go-to spot for sushi!

Finally!! I found this very nice Japanese restaurant...sushi and sashimi are my favorite food !!! Today I was passed by...then decided to ordered for to go ...no regrets..the food is so delicious!!! Staffs are very nice and friendly no doubt. When I want to have Japanese food. I will be only choose this one...dine-in or order take out...highly recommended

This is my now go-to sushi place in Barrie. The staff are welcoming and friendly, even when it gets ridiculously busy! I have never seen a restaurant provide free drinks to waiting customers, and this is what the staff did! I was there when it was an incredibly busy Friday night. The staff apologized profusely for being short-staffed, and went above and beyond for the customers who had been put out, waiting for their takeout orders. I highly recommend the torched sushi and torched rolls SOHO roll, Crazy Roll, etc.. The sashimi is wonderful. The BBQ Pork Buns hit the spot. The veggie explosion roll is also very tasty. My only complaint is that they no longer serve the delicious mango pudding dessert! But the replacement deep friend Mars is pretty darn good. I highly recommend if you are looking for an amazing sushi place!
