This is my new favourite sushi spot. Amazing quality and value! I can't wait to dine in sometime next week to try their All You Can Eat.
My family and I eat at Sakana House several times per year. Typically, it satisfies our sushi craving because it’s close to family who live in Innisfil. Tonight’s experience was extremely disappointing. We served dinner and found three pieces of plastic in the same roll of sushi. These pieces were large enough for someone to choke on. I contacted the restaurant and was offered 20% off our next future order. The manager was apologetic, but would not entertain any further credit. It makes me question the food preparation and freshness of the sushi.
Food was good, but as for the service, when I get sushi they normally bring out things at a reasonable pace, bit they brought EVERYTHING at the same time, even my appetizers. We had a table overflowing with food and had to try and choke down our food to make more room. By the time we got to most of our stuff, it was soggy or cold. The food for the most part was good but they need to work on service
The food here was absolutely amazing! The mango sushi was super fruity which was a bit powerful for my pallet but everything was very fresh and super tasty! Helpful and friend service. The owner is an amazing person too! Vegetarian options: Great dietary restrictions upon being sat down. Parking: Simple parking but shared with other businesses in the area. Dietary restrictions: Great options available, but not 100% sure what they all offer.
honestly if you leave this restaurant anything but a bad review I feel terrible for you as you have obviously not lived and eaten good food or sushi. there are much cleaner,friendly,cost effective fresh food establishments in town! the staff was unfriendly and unaccommodating. the food was overpriced and rushed resulting in below average quality at best. if you want to feel like you got quality fresh food for your money then dont go here.
Absolutely amazing food! I drove up from Bradford because I had a huge craving for sushi and really wanted all you can eat. This places exceeded my expectations. Great price for great quality food and lots of selections. Very friendly staff that are constantly cleaning and wearing proper masks. Had early dinner which was nice because we had time to eat with our 1.5 year old in the back room all to ourselves. Felt very safe and since we were early the service was super fast that we couldn't keep up. Was worth the 30 minute drive, will be coming back again for sure!
I would not even give 1 star. We went to all you can eat at 2:10 pm and they told us that we will take the Ipad way at 2:45 pm as the dinner time starts. We talk to them over the call that we will be there at 2:00 pm for all you can eat and they told nothing about it this policy. The option they gave to us was you pay for dinner at 2:00 pm so that you have enough time to order and eat what ever you like. The thing was they want us to pay for dinner as they earn more in that.
They try to charge you for every little piece of food. The manager made it quite awkward for our poor server, forcing her to deliver the news and ask for us to pay for some plain rice that was left over. They use too much rice to make you full and ask for money when you are unhappy with the quality of sushi ??? At least management could have the courage to personally tell customer’s about this. Will NEVER be returning or recommending a place built around profit and taking advantage of customers.
Unfortunately, my partner and I will no longer be regulars at this location. Service has slowly declined, as has quality. It seemed like they were training some new staff today, which honestly they were doing great. Multiple pieces of cartilage in chicken and beef teriyakis, everything that was fried was extremely over cooked. I ordered the chicken rice wrapped in lotus leaf before everything else as it normally takes some time to be ready, though after 50 minutes, needing to ask the servers to check with the kitchen twice, and some nasty stares from the kitchen staff it finally arrived, after attempting to break it up with my chopsticks, I find it’s rock solid in the center and completely frozen, chicken and all. This is very disgusting and just flat-out sloppy. Shame.
My friend and I were looking for someplace to eat before she had to work. I have been here plenty of times before and have never had issues so I suggested we went here. We arrived and were sat at a table with a direct view into the kitchen. As we ate, I witnessed a cook who was straining some sort of noodle, I watched him drop it on the floor then proceed to pick it up and put it back into the strainer. This was very unappetizing to see especially as we were almost done our meals. The staff is rude, they are always hovering around the tables asking if people are done ordering yet. It is not a true all you can eat place. If they are not ushering you out the door, they are forgetting your items and ignoring you. This is the first time I’ve had a negative experience here, and I will not be returning.
