I just want to thank dr bassi and his wonderful team for the care and support given to us. We looked for almost a year to find a vet up here after moving here 1yr ago they were the only ones that took our sweet chloe on as a patient. We are forever grateful for their expertise and amazing caring team.
Took us in very quick. Were very descriptive about what to expect and what comes after surgery. My pup cant talk but I'd say all went well so far. We will be going for future surgeries. Friendly staff. And they answer the phone.
We have been with this hospital for 2 years and recently had to bring my very sick puppy in. The staff was great and Dr. Sidhu was amazing with both my dog and me. I feel very lucky to have such a wonderful team to look after us.
I've had my animals going here since I can remember... But all I have to say about this place is the staff there are great, kind and caring... But as for Dr. Pankaj Bassi and Dr. Kulwinderpal Sidhu, they're a different story... Always in a rush, don't seem to care, always seem to be in it for the money. I had to make a decision today that destroyed me, instead of giving me time to think I was constantly reminded that I was wasting time and he was getting backed up, I know feel like I made a terrible mistake... I recommend the Staff, but as the two Veterinarians that own or run this place, make me want to give this a 0 star rating... If I do get another pet in the future, Airport animal hospital is a place I will avoid.
In comparison to other vets I've been to, the team at Airport always makes me feel like I have all the information needed to make the right decisions for my pets rather than always encouraging the most expensive option. They're super accommodating and their prices are much better than what I've paid elsewhere!
I went for an ear infection for my grandpuppy which they looked after but they charged me over $200 just for the exam which is outrageous and they never even shaved her ear. I will not be going back here. They also gave me recommendation and one of those is that she should be fixed at 6 years old and on previous visit they said that it is too dangerous to do that after she turns 5 so go figure. Pretty sad when they are supposed to know better.
Very caring and kind by vet and the staff.Also very helpful financially.I have to travel from Sturgeon Falls to North Bay but it's worth it.Stewie and Prince agree :
We have been visiting this Veterinary Hospital for over 15 years and we have had 5 dogs taken care of by them. They are friendly, professional, compassionate and we wouldn’t take our dogs anywhere else. They have been with us through death, major accident and surgery and common services like allergies and testing. They do it all and are wonderful at it.
Always pleasant staff. Waiting areas are clean. Pets are professionally attended to promptly.
Our usual vet was closed and we were urged to go to Airport Animal Hospital for an emergency consult. The vet we saw, Dr Bassi, really lacked empathy and the bedside manner you would hope for in an emergency situation. He wasn't overly helpful and gave the impression he'd had other places to be and things to do. It was very disappointing - especially considering the costly fee $310.54 - Emerg after hours fee. However, our vet tech, Sheldon, was amazing. He was welcoming, helpful, empathetic, patient and gave us suggestions that we could carry out at home to help her - and it really helped! Within a couple of hours she was recovering and is back to her playful self. He turned around an already stressful situation and at least gave us some helpful suggestions to help our puppy. Thank you Sheldon!
